WAVE 4 TOKEN : "Treasure"

Here it is!
I'm happy to share with you the illustration for the Wave 4 "Treasure" token.  
I was quivering with excitement to show it to you!  
For a very long time, I have wanted to create an illustration that would allow me to explore Gustav Klimt's style. I'm sure you all have already seen at least the painting  "The Kiss"  by this Austrian symbolist artist.  
I have a book about his art that was a major source of inspiration to understand his approach, somewhere between realism and abstraction.
The geometric side of motifs in Klimt's works, was also a great match with my taste for Byzantine jewelry.  
It was an opportunity to explore a very different digital painting technique. Something very textured and not as soft in some places as my usual brush strokes.  
There was a secondary inspiration for this very special piece, that came from the "Treasure" concept itself. When "Jibaro" from "Love, Death and Robots" was released  in 2022, I was mesmerized by this idea of a creature that would be both and a woman and a treasure in herself.  

All this put together turned into this piece. I loved every second I spent painting it, and I'm glad to share it with you know for your new token.

Je suis heureuse de partager avec vous l'illustration du token "Trésor" de la Vague 4.
Je frémissais d'impatience à l'idée de vous la montrer !  
Depuis très longtemps, j'avais envie de créer une illustration qui me permettrait d'explorer le style de Gustav Klimt. Je suis sûre que vous avez tous déjà vu au moins le tableau "Le Baiser" de cet artiste symboliste autrichien.  
Je possède un livre sur son art qui a été une source d'inspiration majeure pour comprendre son approche, quelque part entre le réalisme et l'abstraction.  
Le côté géométrique des motifs dans les œuvres de Klimt correspondait également à mon goût pour les bijoux byzantins.  
C'était aussi l'occasion d'explorer une technique de peinture numérique très différente. Quelque chose de très texturé et de moins doux à certains endroits que mes coups de pinceau habituels.  
Cette pièce très spéciale a également été inspirée par le concept même de "Trésor". Lorsque "Jibaro" dans "Love, Death and Robots" est sorti en 2022, j'ai été fascinée par l'idée d'une créature qui serait à la fois une femme et un trésor en soi.  
Tous ces éléments réunis ont donné naissance à cette illustration. J'ai adoré chaque seconde passée à la peindre, et je suis heureuse de la partager avec vous pour votre nouveau token.
