New video. New podcast!

For those waiting for my next video (which is about 2 weeks away), I have just completed a video with good ol' Linus Boman, where we discuss a variety of topics about being a designer and YouTuber.

Also, there's a new podcast from Scoring Notes, who interviewed myself and Simon Smith (our engraving expert) about MuseScore 4.

Enjoy!

I use Quicktime to record my screen (using MacOS). Failing that, I use OBS (on Windows). However, Quicktime has the best performance. It runs at 60 frames per second, etc. I use Premiere Pro for editing (including all my zooming in and out). I use After effects for more complex animations. I manually write out any quotes or other kinds of text that I narrate. I don't know anything about Udemy, unfortunately, so I can't answer that question.

Gentlemen, I enjoyed the new video and it got me wondering about the following issues: I want to present lessons on Music Theory; what application can I use to show real time, for example, how to notate a chord. Do you use MuseScore and do a screen shot video and then fly that into IMovie? How do we get the narration to turn into text? Could the two of you possibly list the applications you use to make your vids? And can you suggest different online assets other than You Tube where we can list our work? Like, how does You Tube interface with Udemy or other online “Colleges”. I know these are lots of questions and they cover a lot of different concepts. I’d appreciate any advice. Maybe you could monetize these questions by putting together a course? Cheers and happy new year!☺️ Professor WKMc aka BigBoyBeats
