Hello everyone! I thought you might enjoy this clip from my upcoming video, which is in its raw storyboard stage. Since the final product will be quite large in scale and varied in subject matter, I've decided to enlist the help of an illustrator and editor. This allows me to continue refining my script, while working on the editing and music required for other segments. (All made possible thanks to you, by the way)
Bringing in more people complicates the production process a bit and requires the creation of storyboards to make sure that everyone is on the same page.
When I do editing, I start with the sound - making sure that the vocal performance and BG music flows well, which then informs how I do the visual editing. I'm very curious to find out how this segment will eventually come together.
A few notes:
- I've included one illustration that has already been produced for the project (Miss Su). However, there is no colour grading or effects yet, so the final result will likely look quite different.
- The pronunciation of Chinese names & instruments will almost certainly change. I've asked one of my Chinese pals for advice on how to pronounce everything more accurately.
- I'm by no means certain that everything you see here will make it to the final cut. In particular, I'm worried that my jokes might be distracting / not funny. I have a general rule that if I suspect something *might* not be funny, it should be cut. Welcome to the world of being a YouTuber!
