SP Update

I expected this to be hard, but wow, this took a lot of work. Except for some possible word choice edits, I think this is in its final state. I hope.

This took forever. It's only four hundred bloody words!

Right. As I was saying, I tore out Celestia's part from the draft because this came off much better during the writing process as a straight up villain song from Luna explaining what she's all about without interruption (do recall that she got cut off abruptly when she tried to do that before with Twilight).

Well, I suspect there will be very minor interruptions from Celestia when I insert this into the narrative, but that probably won't be in verse. At any rate, we've heard the full story from both sides now. Luna's, you kind of have to piece together as the song itself is more of a concise summary without details, but she's littered hints in her scenes already and more will come.

I may compose a bit of musical accompaniment to this as well, something I'm not completely inexperienced at. While music theory isn't my thing, I'm not unfamiliar with the basics or the mathematics behind it. It wouldn't exactly convert to text, but it'd be nice to have around. If I learned how to use Vocaloid...

Anyway, this is written in ballad meter! That's a superset of common meter. It can be sung to any tune that uses the same meter. If you have no idea what I'm talking about, try taking one of the songs below and singing it over another's music.
