Inside a Tax scam operation (Patron Preview version)

Hi folks,

New video! https://youtu.be/vKHvTCvM5ZE

Sorry I've been quiet of late. It's because of Covid and the fact that last month's video is on hold because the police in the UK are actively investigating what I uncovered. I'll publish that as soon as I can.

In the meantime, here's a new video which I hope to release publicly next week. The public version will be shorter than this one - this has more detail if you're into these scams! It's a rare one because it's almost impossible to watch tax scammers at work. I usually need a remote connection to my PC, but this never happens with tax scams. However, I had a bit of insider help with this one.

Next month (May) I'm pleased to announce something very special and will probably be my most elaborate video ever. I'll not give any hints just yet, but I KNOW you will absolutely love what has just been recorded. It has the potential to really disrupt the scamming world. I can't wait to release that one.

As always, you will be first to see this and there will be lots of extra content. This one will have a "behind the scenes" version too. It will be as interesting as the video itself.

Once more, thank you for your continued support and I look forward to the next Gold+ Patron hangout on the 24th April.

Jim

Jeremy, hacking is illegal. Jim Browning and those of us here who support him must remain within the constraints of the LAW. No action can be taken without evidential support of the crime. Evidence must be passed to the proper authorities so action can be taken.

Oh my - you reached out to that boss you worked for 15 years ago - sure hope you did not compromise anything, including your safety.

Valerie C

I love the term "MISS-ERROR" used in the script.

Wayne R Morris

The last scammer seemed to have a partial welsh accent, do they use voice mods in the same way some scambaiters do in order to sound more local to the victim?

Momentous Mori

With regard to India, it would seem that pressure could be applied to law enforcement there when negotiating financial assistance. Why give money to a country who's soft on crime the is bankrupting the elderly?

Tee McDonald

Isn't it better if there are more scammers hacker like Jim? Why is there not any place where people could learn to hack these bad actors?

You are right! Thanks for the advise.

There was an article in the paper that scams took over $10 billion from Californians last year. So I see opponents prevent victims losing thousands which is wonderful, then at $10 billion...

Craig Browning

I appreciate your desire to oppose these scammers. I think Michael Sahyun goes too far saying to only alert the authorities - when's the last time you heard of the authorities doing much - but it does make sense to use caution, when you talk about 'physically finding them' that's likely too dangerous, what are you going to do if you find them? Trying to find safe ways to oppose them makes some sense.

Craig Browning

Be careful there, Jeremy Adam. Best to alert the various proper authorities instead of getting yourself in a risky physical situation. You wouldn't want to be in a situation that got out of hand that ends up creating a situation for you. It's one thing for you to have been misled, it's another if you do things you end up having to explain and you find have no words for it. You really can mess up the rest of your entire life and it's really not that hard to do, and yet can be impossible to get out of. Just plain stay away from bad people.

Hi Jim, been a supporter for sometime now..I would like to learn to hack these guys. Where can I learn? Also, here is my testimony.. I worked in a call center in India and their operation seemed like legit one but I am guessing it was a scam. We were saying we are selling Debt Elimination program and were tricking people to get their credit card number. I did this 15 years ago. I was young and in college. I was a bad performer they trained me and went on to become the best there.. I feel horrible for this. I didn't even know it was a scam. I was thinking we were really helping customers with their debts. We said we called from so and so company but that company name changed once a month. Man I feel so bad. I want to hack these mf'ers. I tried reaching out to my boss and they wouldn't accept me on any social media and even blocked me. This is insane. I am going to India next month I think they are still doing this scam. This is targeting UK customers. If you hear anything similar let me know and I know where to find these guys physically.

Jim, we need to raise awareness that once someone has given any time to a scammer on the phone, their number will now be put on a list and potentially sold to other criminals as a vulnerable person, even if the original scam was not successful. I think it needs mentioning a bit more.

Thank you Ryan. I have a huge video coming up (released on Saturday). I will provide a video on how to set up a VM for scam baiting... There are a few important things to add for maximum trollage.

Jim Browning

Just signed up to support you, I know its not much but I hope it helps. Would love to learn more on how I can help make these scammers lives miserable with my VMs

Ryan Dunn

Thank you, as ever.
