Working with CBC Marketplace

It's a follow-up from excellent 2018 program where they went to Delhi - the doorstep of the scammers. They didn't quite go that far this time, but we did manage to prevent a few Canadian victims from being scammed.
I feature from around the 30 minute mark.
CBC did what I usually can't do... they exposed the unblurred face of the scammers. I'll also do this, but it won't be on YouTube. I'll upload the video of this scammer on a different platform.
I hope you enjoy their program. I'll post my version of one of the scams featured very shortly.

When you popped up on MarketPlace (been a big fan being Canadian, also worked in the building beside CBC head office on Front St. so would see those working on the show off and on going/leaving work)on CBC I felt really good! I've written it into my power of atty that if I enter into a mental decline that my son immediately take charge of my financial affairs so that both our signatures are required for accounts or his alone based on diagnosis. Until then, I've just gotten into the habit of not answering calls I don't know.

Did you foresee this happening when you started out trying to shed light and fight back against scammers, being asked to share your story and work on places like CBC and getting time in the spotlight from journalists? Would you have preferred staying on the downlow, or is it better that it's being talked about in the open?

What angers me is the police saying on at least two levels that they don't care and don't want to do anything: First by dissolving the fraud unit and then the police officer at the end saying, essentially, that the police can't do anything and it is up to the public to not be victimized. While also not allowing the public to defend themselves against these scammers.
