The dumbest scammers of 2019 [Patron Version]
Added 2019-12-26 20:02:44 +0000 UTCAs always at the end of a year, I present 2019's dumbest scammers. Since this is a Patron version, it's un-blurred and available a few days before the public version.
It's poking a bit of fun at some scammers, but the serious work of trying to get them shut down will continue in 2020.
This is probably the last video I will post this year, but I already know the 2020 is going to be a very significant year in combating tech scammers. Some of the ground-work you've helped me to cover will be very useful in stopping these scammers over the course of next year.

2020-01-03 12:17:07 +0000 UTCThank you Jim for defending the people who can’t defend themselves. I know how hard it can be trying to help people who don’t understand what all is going on. My dad is the victim of several strokes over the last few years and had become cognitively impaired as a result. I’ve taken every precaution available to reduce the chances of him getting scammed, including education, but because of his cognitive issues, he has still be scammed in the past, and it becomes frustrating to me even though I know it’s not his fault. So the fact that you go out of your way to help these people that you don’t even know that half of the time don’t even want any help makes you a hero in my book. Thanks again for all that you do and I’ll be supporting you until every scam call center is taken down for good.

Part of the reason why I post videos like this is to try to get some action in India where the vast majority of the calls originate. There are quite a number of things happening there and I hope to be able to report on some of these next year. In the meantime, thanks for supporting me Pat. I hope that we will see some changes to these calls soon. Jim

I'm a disabled man and I nearly got scanned a few years ago when I use to get phone calls from someone telling me there was something wrong with my pc and annoying me to go switch it on in order to so called fix my problem. when I pointed out I was busy at the time and the caller kept calling me back and just got so annoyed the just said fuck off hung up my phone and blocked the number.
