MissyHissy's TS3 Snowboarding Career for TS4

Hi everyone! Today I bring you a new career that I’ve been working on for a while! If you played the Sims 3 and loved MissyHissy’s mods, it might sound familiar because it is the Snowboarding career converted for the Sims 4 with permission. I haven’t seen anyone do this career yet, so I ended up deciding to do it myself. And now I am sharing with you all. <3 I now bring you @missy-hissy’s Snowboarding career for the Sims 4 and it is Base Game Compatible!

Note: This is BGC, however MissyHissy has made a version for those with Snowy Escape. (I can’t find the link atm, but it was for Christmas 2020.) So I will not be making an SE compatible version.

Career Info:

Snowboarder ~ Becoming a professional snowboarder is a long journey, but if you’re committed to your sport and are prepared to dedicate your spare time to riding the half-pipe, you’ll be there in no time.

1. Accessory Man/Woman ~ So, snowboarding is your sport. You want to know everything there is to know about it and have every accessory ever invented to prove your dedication. That’s all very well, but can you actually snowboard? Maybe it might be a good time to lay off purchasing everything snowboard-related and hit the half-pipe.

2. Snowboarding Student ~ Well, practicing paid off. Literally. Now, you have the money to invest in snowboarding lessons. Three times a week you head to the half-pipe with your instructor while he watches with his heart in his mouth as you come crashing down the slope, with your snowboard trailing behind. But don’t be disheartened by your failures and injuries; every great snowboarder started out this way.

3. Regional Contestant ~ Your dedicated instructor thinks you’re ready to compete in a few regional competitions, to give you the experience of competing against other talented snowboarders, such as yourself. Don’t worry if you don’t win every time; taking part is what counts and it’ll get your name recognized after a while.

4. Snowboard Instructor ~ What better way to improve your knowledge of a skill than to teach it to someone else? You’ve got a temporary job as a Snowboard instructor. At the same time, you’re still competing in regional competitions and are now scouring the country for sponsors to get you into the bigger picture.

5. Amateur Sponsored Snowboarder ~ Your name is getting out in the snowboarding circle and you’ve got a sponsor! You’re an amateur snowboarder and even though you’re still in regional competitions, you get some of your equipment for free! That allows a bigger bonus in your pay since you hardly have to spend out now!

6. Pro-Am Snowboarder ~ More than an amateur, but not quite a pro. You’re hoping to get into some of the bigger competitions now. You still compete in the regionals, but you’re trying out for international competitions to really make your name. Keep practicing on the half-pipe in your free time and you might just get there.

7. Professional Snowboarder ~ You’re a pro! You’ve learned every trick there is to know and you’re a killer on the half-pipe. Keep this up and those big competitions won’t be far away! You’ve competed internationally and finished pretty well, so it won’t be long now!

8. Half-Pipe Contestant ~ Ooh, the half-pipe is your specialty and now, you’re being paid to enter the Half-Pipe Competition and hopefully win a medal! This is the most famous of competitions and if you win this, your name will be known all over the sporting world! What an achievement that would be for you!

9. Snowboard Cross Contestant ~ Another big competition and against some of the best snowboarders in the world, but your determination will prove to be one of your best assets as you take on a Super Pro on the final slope. Your friends and family have been waiting for this day and eagerly await your arrival on the slope.

10. Super Pro Snowboarder ~ You’ve made it as a Super Pro! Every snowboarder in the world knows your name and snowboarding fans look up to you and shower you with respect and awe. You’ve done great things to the snowboarding community and now it’s time to enjoy the glory your medals and trophies have earned you. Congratulations!
