Refund scam bonus video for patrons only

You are doing an amazing job, You need to get an indian friend who speaks hindi and then ask him to talk to the scammers in hindi by telling them that we know your name and address and location etc and the cops are on the way, thats when the panic will really hit and they will fear for their lives. Right now they know/assume its an american so they take it lightly and assume nothing might happen even if you know all details as you are on the other side of the world. Also, the law in india is not very strong, specially in Kolkata and they might not even have the know how, of how to investigate or understand a cyber crime like this, also they can be corrupt and not take any action just for a few bucks.

I would’ve loved to hear the call between the scammer after you inform them of the scam! What do they do? Just hang up or what? I mean geez..unbelievable!

The best thing to do is gather information and only if you can maintain the connection contact the victim, there is always an exception of course .But I think keeping the access to the PC is vital . Intell intell intell .

An app that runs a series of responses like: "sorry, can you repeat that?" and "I'm confused...what did you say?" and "I don't understand, can you speak more slowly?" Something that sounds convincing and would run 100 or so responses like that in a random loop would tie them up for hours.

In a lot of cases, I can mess with them, but I have a dilemma...If I make it really obvious that I have access to their PCs, they will switch off and I can no longer gather intelligence. Its a difficult balance.

Wow, Jim, you're totally that guy's angel. I can't imagine getting a phone call like that. That would be amazing. I hope John is doing well, and I hope that we're able to inform more and more people of these, and the other types of scams. Keep fighting the good fight!

Thank you Marek. It's only a tiny bit of help for some people. I do intend to do more, but that requires assistance from some authorities in India and I've not been very successful there. However, I have a video coming up where I'm attempting another (legal) route...

I'm certain that it's the US authorities who have the clout to actually start something off which results in arrests. I've seen similar arrests in Mumbai... Again IRS scammers. I've personally spoken with people who were victims of popup scams. I tipped off one person and asked her to request her money back... Some do offer refunds. I heard her phone the scammers a little while later to ask them if they were scammers. They gave the obvious answer and she believed them. She was completely unaware she'd been scammed and wasn't prepared to do some basic research.

In April, hundreds of arrests were made by Indian authorities with regard to the IRS scam. Why just bust the IRS scam? Could it be that the American government pressured them into acting? Perhaps reporting scams to the home authorities where the victims live may help. Often victims are reluctant to do this because they are embarrassed or even confused as to what exactly happened. This may not help but it can't hurt either. Just a thought.

Keep up the great work...I’ve been watching the freebies on ewetube for a while now; decided to support to “pay back/forward” in the world. I could see my folks succumbing to these MOFOs...so awareness and shaming these scum is great work.

I'm now recruiting a few others to keep their eyes on these guys. They work an overnight shift, so it's convenient for me to see most of their activity in the evenings UK time. I'll look into making the trojan better... it's still a little crude and that sort of error message would help.

Nice work. I know you cant watch the scammers 24/7 But what do you do if you see some one was scammed over night or at a time you were not watching? Also your Trojan file might get more computers if you put in a popup dialog box saying something like. Windows could not open this file please try on a different computer. If you continue to experience this error please contact Microsoft support. Error 0x0000000E8
