Royal Road Writathon
Added 2021-04-03 14:23:15 +0000 UTCSo I'm participating in the Royal Road Writathon this year. For those who don't know, that's a challenge where you try to write 55,555 words in 5 weeks time. I plan on finishing it in roughly two weeks or better, ideally about ten days, but I do have to work full time still, so two weeks is more likely.
My submission is an original story I've entitled, 'Countdown'.
A brilliant man has brought about the end of the world, only nobody knows it but him. The world is screwed, there's nothing that can be done... so rather than about him saving the world, it's about how he treats his final days.
Does he tell the truth to the world? Or let them exist in blissful ignorance. How does he live with himself, can he come to terms with what he's done? Find out at the link below.
