Since I worked on this in Procreate I'm not sure how much the layers are accurately translated, or if that's even an issue between the two programs, but I hope this gives you some insight into my process. In Procreate I mainly use the Chalk brush, edited to be a circular shape and not that weird crescent shape it comes in.
