H-Scene Work, Hair Fixes

Greetings! Work continues on 0.10; since the last update, mostly on H-scene images. There's 6 left to finish now, not counting postwork; I'd hoped to be about done with them by now, but it's taking longer than expected. The extra work has gone into getting the poses to look more natural, trying some different things with the lighting, and going back to tweak things on images I wasn't entirely happy with. I think it'll be a fun H-scene - hopefully the images are able to convey that!

Something good happened while working on the scenes, and I really feel the need to share, so I'll just tell you: I managed to (mostly) fix Alex and Ana's hair! Longtime supporters will know this is something I've been carping and complaining about for quite a while, but it's finally over! It all started when an update to Daz broke something with their hair, causing it to look really crappy. After trying various things, I came up with something that looked much better than the "broken" version, but not nearly as good as the original hair. I've never really been happy with it, so now that I have more 3D knowledge, I spent a little time trying to fix it again, and pretty much succeeded. Still haven't figured out exactly what broke, but I've mostly figured out how to work around it.

Let's have a look at Ana first. The images, from left to right are:

I actually think the new fix looks better than the original. This is Ana with her original textures, by the way. Here's what she looks like with her newer textures, the ones she's had in 0.8+ H-scenes:

The first image is the previous fix, the second is the new fix.

Now let's look at Alex. In Alex's case, the "broken" hair doesn't look quite as bad, and the original still looks *slightly* better than the new fix, but it's pretty darned close. 

The order is the same as with Ana's picture. Depending on how large the picture displays, you may not be able to see how bad the "broken" hair looked, but trust me - you'd definitely be able to in a close-up shot.

Once I started messing with it again, figuring this out actually didn't take very long. All the new H-scene's images will have this "fixed" hair; quite a few images were already finished by the time I figured this out, so I just went back and applied the fixes (I'm in the process of re-rendering them now.) 

Once I'm done with the renders, I'm going to move on to the postwork, and then to the actual writing of the H-scene. I'd like to have the H-scene completely finished, so I can then move on to the remaining quests/writing.
