Added 2019-09-13 04:12:12 +0000 UTCGreetings!
It's come to my attention that many new patrons are having a hard time finding the latest release, so I thought it might be helpful to have one place I can direct them to in order to find it.
Here is a page that contains the latest release, which as of now is 10.4!
If you're an Icon+ patron, you'll also be able to get the latest high-resolution picture pack here.
Finally, if you're an Avatar+ patron, you can add messages to either the Broken Augur's Orb or Letters from the Oracle. This is intended as a fun way for you to get a little of you into the game! You can find details about it here.
I hope you enjoy, and thank you for your support!

You have to head left directly after you enter the Dark Pits area from the overworld map. Cross a little bridge and it should start.

2025-07-28 03:17:26 +0000 UTCI think the fees end up being almost exactly the same. Patreon raised its fees a bit for newer accounts, but I'm grandfathered in under the old plan. Patreon has a slightly better product, but SubscribeStar is much less censorious. Patreon's censorship probably won't be much of an issue for this project, though. I'd just go with whichever one you like more or the one that better aligns with your ideology. I will say that the SubscribeStar comment section is dead as dead can be - you could probably count the total comments I've ever gotten there on two hands. If you like getting into discussions with other supporters or reading other people's comments about the game, I'd probably stick with Patreon.

2023-05-06 06:12:59 +0000 UTCQuestion: Should I move my subscription over the SubscribeStar? I think they give you more of the $ I pay, right? I set up an account there and saw you also have one.

2023-05-06 05:36:43 +0000 UTCNo problem.... i am glad and i don t think every second you disrespect me :-)))

2022-10-22 10:10:02 +0000 UTCSorry for the misunderstanding. I was just teasing a bit. When you go with a name like Skeeve and you start making Robert Asprin references it brings out the mischievous little boy in me to play. No disrespect intended.

2022-10-12 04:13:08 +0000 UTCOk, it was a misunderstanding then from me, english is not my language and i dont think he was impolite, my bad english is guilty ;-)

2022-10-11 17:36:11 +0000 UTCI think he's just trying to be friendly with a fellow Robert Asprin fan.

2022-10-10 22:25:20 +0000 UTCsorry, i dont understand your question ( my english is too bad) or mean you the Phule-storys ? i know them, all good.

2022-10-10 15:02:28 +0000 UTCYou say you came across the works of Robert Asprin during your myth adventures, Skeeve? What kind of Phule do you take me for?

2022-07-02 07:31:12 +0000 UTCThank you :D I remember seeing Robert Asprin's works in the bookstores back in the day, but surprisingly I've never read them. Sounds like my kind of stuff, though! Glad you're enjoying the game!

2022-07-01 15:20:37 +0000 UTCThank you very much! I do try to make it more of a real game than just a H-game. Glad you’re enjoying it! :D

2021-12-21 16:39:52 +0000 UTCI just wanna say, this is AWESOME. Most of the games I find on Patreon are barely games at all, more like slightly interactive stories. So I like that this is an actual game. But I also love the sense of humor in it. The artwork is cute and really fits the mood of the game. Clever puzzles are a bonus. This is great work and I hope you continue with game design and development.

2021-12-20 23:55:55 +0000 UTCUnfortunately not :/ An in-game help menu is one of the things I plan to add to the game eventually. Here's something in the meantime: RPGM standard controls: Arrow keys: move avatar z or enter key: action (main way you interact with environment, can do different things in different contexts) x or esc key: cancel. Also brings up main menu shift: holding it causes character to run TPE-specific controls: w: holding this will fast-forward dialogue (use with caution! may screw up cutscenes.) r: rotates objects in certain puzzles (The Dark Pits, the Oracle's temple) h: hide/unhide text boxes i: toggles game character view render I think that's it. I may be missing some.

2021-12-16 21:54:34 +0000 UTCIs there a help feature or a post somewhere that tell us what the various keys do?

2021-12-16 19:14:32 +0000 UTCi run the game through lutris with wine on arch and it runs just fine for me
NefariousPBO
2020-04-01 23:23:02 +0000 UTCBy the way, the problem with getting Linux-build to run was due to nwjs version, for some reason the one included with RPG maker MV does not work on some distributions but upgrading to newer nwjs solves that problem. It seems there has been some change in font configuration that is not compatible with how it has been done before (chromium bug?).

2019-12-16 19:05:01 +0000 UTCLooks like there's many ways to package those games, some don't work that easily at all. Gaming on Linux has improved a bunch since Valve started supporting it though.
kazer
2019-12-08 11:41:27 +0000 UTCI had one Linux user tell me they weren't able to get it to run until they'd updated nwjs on their machine. Which is weird, since the game is supposed to come packaged with its own version. Linux never gets any love, but at least its users are usually technically proficient enough to figure it out.

2019-12-07 10:06:34 +0000 UTCI'm running Windows version on Linux using nwjs directly, Linux-version itself has some problems. Google for "playing rpg maker mv games on linux".

2019-12-07 07:54:30 +0000 UTCSeems to be some sort of Unicode problem. I'm not too up on Linux, but I'll give it a look.

2019-09-13 04:54:13 +0000 UTCDoes anyone out there know if patrons are able to see posts from months prior to them joining? If not, this idea may not work.
