The Proteus Effect 0.7 is now Available!

*Spoiler!* It’s a timing puzzle. You’ve got to detonate the wisp’s bomb in such a way that the explosion chains to the other bombs. You do this by lighting a red bomb and pushing it into the water at the right place and time.

I'm locked in a enigma of the donjon with the bomb gestion , i'm in a place where a switch sumon a red bomb and 4 golem in in this place where 4 inert bomb is don't be pushed, a monster push a inert bomb and impossible to make a red bomb on the bridge , i can only make the bomb in the water and they go in the end of the river. How i pass this ?

You need to visit Val’s room at night after you’ve completed the dungeon and done all of her scenes.

There may be a bug that will cause very rapid infection rates if you reload a save right before the minigame without closing the game first. Until I get it fixed, if you reload for the hospital game, I'd suggest shutting the engine down first. If you have weird problems, I'd suggest reloading a save (after shutting the game down and starting it back up).

Ana already did go down on her during one of the scenes (it was one of the multi-path ones). But how much you see that sorta thing in the future depends on which way their relationship goes.

Stand next to the bomb while facing it. Press enter. It should start to blink slightly. Run. After a short delay it should detonate. One class of bomb [the brown ones, I think] need to be detonated by other bombs.

hey this might be a dumb question, but i can't figure out how to detonate the bombs. any advice?

This is a fair criticism of the '10 bomb room'. I didn't think of giving the player a little map, that's a good idea.

These new puzzles are pretty nice and a welcome addition to brake op the mob killing phases, but i feel like they get bogged down by the fov the player has in these rpg maker games. When i walked into the first bomb puzzle, i couldn't see all of the rocks, so i couldn't begin to plan and strategize how, when, and where i'm going to be using my bombs. It just starts to become more like a guessing game, and less like an actual puzzle, to me atleast. Perhaps you could add a little map for the different puzzles, if possible? I just feel like the otherwise fun little puzzle challenges are severely hindered by the fov the player has, and it makes for an overall less fun puzzle solving experience. Just my 2 cents from this update so far.

Ahh, I figured that tile was something. I didn't think the blast radius was big enough to hit it. Found it now :)

I'm glad you like it! :D The 'legendary' quest I'm talking about is the 'Weather-Beaten Hat' quest. You probably found it in the dungeon. It's not exactly hidden, but one could easily miss it. If you didn't find it, though, you can still get it after it's beaten. I disabled most of the bomb levers after you beat the boss, but not the one needed to get the hat.

Liked the dungeon a lot! The boss could be a little frustrating, but not too bad after you figure everything out. Any hint for finding the legendary quest? I was wondering if it was maybe in the nightclub, and we could get into it with the fancy new dress, but that doesn't seem to be the case

You mean the 'gauntlet' just past the long bridge next to kobold town? You should be able to push the bomb and also detonate it to destroy obstacles.

Could I ask for a little help plz... I've jst got past the rock bomb guys n at a leaver that drops a bomb but can't do anything with it... Am I missing something?

If you're on Windows or Linux, you can copy over the save folder, as Drako says. If you're on mac, the system should find it automatically.

It's okay I figured it out.. If you go to www file you'll see your save folder, copy it to the same location you found it from 0.64 to the new update. Mine is working ok. :D
