Thanks for this. I enjoyed Leila's comments on the Indigenous question in Canada. As she alluded to, the issue is "controversial" in the sense that it can only be discussed in a completely histrionic, moralistic way. Leila's sensible, nuanced comments would, if expressed, probably get her exiled from most "left spaces" in Canada.

2021-08-04 04:38:39 +0000 UTCThis was great and can’t wait for the next one. Also, it’s interesting to here Alex mention the CWI 2019 split. I followed it quite a bit for a deeper political understanding of my former organisation as well as the hilarious entertainment it provided. It would be good to hear both of your takes on it as it coincided with the 2019 dissolution of the ISO in the US. Also, the 1 one the 2 splits from the CWI called the ISA have had a few splits again this year. It looks like all those old groups could keep up with the contradictions of the Sanders and Corbyn moment, their failures and the prospects for the current period.
