the answer to why she wants to does require a little knowledge of the characters mostly on Cynthia's part, she is an archeologist champion and as a result she loves to gather information on the past thats about it

Seems like Cynthia need a submarine to explore underwater but needs money, so she sold her body to Lusamine, got the money, but the sub gets destroyed. And in the end all she needed to do was ask Lillie for a remote control Magikarp? (I don't know Pokémon but I think that's Magikarp?) Usually these are easy to follow even without dialogue. But I think the only thing that's really unclear is why Cynthia wants to go underwater in the first place.

I mean, at first glance it looks like she's making eyecontact with Cynthia, but with how close her head looks to be, and the angle of her eyes are a bit off... Does Lusamine have to worry about her daughter wanting in on the Cynthia action when she gets older?
