Succubestie (Alpha 0.3)

Though nearly all demons that hail from the realm of corruption are driven by the malicious desire to corrupt and transform others around them, Succubesties are a unique outlier. 

Incredibly friendly and outgoing, these demons were the result of a demonic mishap. While the perverter of form had intended to craft demons that would inherently corrupt those who befriended them, wielding a façade of friendship as a means of getting close to others, the intended false desire for companionship became quite sincere. 

Physically, Succubesties appear comparable to a human but with notably pale skin, small demonic horns, tiny flightless wings akin to that of a bat, and hair in cool shades such as violet, blue, and teal.

As the Perverter of Form had intended, those who spend significant amounts of time with Succubesties are slowly corrupted. However, as Succubesties are aware of this transformation, they will do what they can to help alleviate the detrimental effects of this corruption. If a creature forms a deep emotional bond with a Succubestie, while that creature will continue to physically transform, eventually becoming a full-fledged demon themselves, this bond with the Succubestie can repress and prevent all mental changes and corruption. This means that while forming deep emotional bond will cause a creature to transform into a demon, by reciprocating their affection and sincerity, a creature can wield the power of a demon whilst maintaining their mind and ideals. In many cases, those who transform into demons though bonds with Succubesties are transformed into Succubesties themselves. 

Though they love to make friends, when in a group, a Succubestie will primarily focus on a single given creature it clings to closely, aiming to spend as much time near that creature as possible. 

Additionally, unlike other the majority of other demons that focus on forcing aspects of themselves onto others, Succubesties are capable of taking on attributes and abilities of creatures which they form strong emotional bonds with. This means that Succubesties that have a close personal bond with a given creature can be quite adept in anything from casting spells if its friend is an elementalist or arcanist or swordplay if their friend is a knight or berserker.

Though they mean well, as nearly all forms of angels are sworn to purge and purify any demons they encounter within the Realm of Mortals, many Succubesties have been directly tied to mortal conflicts with divine forces, as mortals seek to protect their Succubestie friends or lovers.

Resistances And Weaknesses: The Succubestie is resistant to Dark damage and damage from Demonic and Corrupted sources but is vulnerable to Light damage and damage from Angelic sources. 

Inventory:

-Any three common non-magical weapons and/or armor

-One uncommon magic item

Abilities:

Succubus's Charm: As a one-handed action, this creature may spend 10 MP to target each creature of its choice that can see it within two spaces. If a creature with range has  resolve of 7 or less, it is automatically affected by this ability. If that creature has 8 or more resolve, it must roll 1d6. On a roll of a 1 or 2, that creature is Charmed by the Succubestie until the end of that creature's next turn. If a creature making this roll has Resolve of 16 or higher, it is only charmed on a roll of a 1. While charmed this way, that creature cannot attack the Succubestie and must use its actions to protect and/or heal it to the best of their ability.

Additional Effects: When a creature is hit by this attack, the Succubestie regains half as much HP and half as much Will.

Bond of Corruption:

For every 24 hours a creature spends within one space of a creature, one of that creature's class levels are replaced with a level or lesser demon. If a creature forms a bond level with a Succubestie, that creature loses the Fiendish Compulsion trait of the Lesser Demon class for as long as its bond with the Succubestie remains. 

Additionally, for every one bond level you have with the succubestie, each of your combat stats increases by +1 and one of your class levels is replaces with a level of Lesser Demon. 

For each bond level you have with the Succubestie, it is treated as having one level in your first class, gaining access to that class's applicable abilities. When you gain your second bond level with the Succubestie, you gain the Draining Claw attack. 

When you gain your fourth bond level with the Succubestie, you gain its Succubus's Charm ability. 

Lastly, if you have five bond levels with a Succubestie, if you would become a demon by gaining 15 levels of Lesser Demon or gaining 200 points of corruption, you become a Succubestie, but retain your personality, memories, stats, and abilities. By becoming a Succubestie, your physically transform to more closely resemble the Succubestie you share a bond with (change of hair color, skin color, and you become female if you aren't already), you are classified as a Demon, and you gain the Bond of Corruption ability.
