Vampiric Patrician (Alpha 0.2)

Ageless beings that sustain themselves through the essence of other living creatures, Vampires view themselves as a cut above nearly all other creatures, viewing themselves to be worthy of power and control. While not all vampires are inherently evil and some may actually serve as patrons of beneficial causes, vampires  view themselves at the top of most food chains, especially if they've established sizable lineages through the creation of additional vampires.

Though Vampires may come in all shapes and sizes, with adventurers themselves capable of becoming vampires whilst retaining their personality and morality, there are several sub-categories of vampire that have their own unique traits features. 

Vampiric Patricians are among the eldest vampires known to exist and are notable due to gaining their status as Vampires through ancient profane rituals rather than through the work of another vampire. This fact alone leads many of these Vampires to view themselves as yet even more elite than the others of their kind. 

Vampiric Patricians are known for aiming to spread the influence and size of their lineage as far as possible, creating a hierarchy of vampires at which they sit at the top. Though some Vampiric Patricians may be cruel tyrants, others sincerely view their vampirism as a gift that they wish to spread with others out of the goodness and generosity of their heart. In most cases, due to the manner in which they view themselves above other beings, they are frequently found to be rather pretentious, snobbish, egotistical, and some circumstances, bratty.

As the eldest Vampires on the Realm of Mortals, these Patricians view themselves as connoisseurs of quality in both goods and people alike. If a Vampire Patrician is impressed by a mortal, it may offer magical might, power, or even experience in exchange for joining its vampiric lineage. When converting a creature it views as particularly competent, these Vampires will notably leave the target's mind completely unaltered as a show of respect.

On the other hand, if a Vampiric Patrician defeats a creature that it views as unimpressive, it will likely convert that creature into one of its thralls. While most vampires use their thralls as servants and sometimes even bodyguards, Vampiric Patricians view their thralls more like pets, keeping them around purely for entertainment.

Resistances And Weaknesses: Vampiric Patrons are immune to Dark, Poison, and Ice damage but are vulnerable to Fire and Light damage. Additionally, the Vampiric Patrician is immune to all hypnotizing, charming, and mind-altering effects.

Inventory:

-Any Gold Tier Magic Weapon

-Any two potions and/or poisons.

Abilities:

Vampiric Caster: The Vampiric Patrician Knows 10 spells from the Vampire, Arcanist, and Esper Spell lists. Two Spells it knows may cost 50 MP or less while each other spell can cost no greater than 15 MP.

Power Of The Lineage: At the beginning of each of its turns, the Vampiric Patrician chooses one of its combat stats. Until the beginning of its next turn, that combat stat is increased by +1 for each other vampire within 5 spaces of it.

Vampiric Nature: Once per turn, when the Vampiric Patrician deals damage to a creature with an attack or spell, it may regain that much HP and Will.

Exchange Vitality: If a spell or attack would reduce the HP or Will of the Vampiric Patrician to 0. it can redirect that damage to another Vampire or one of its thralls as long as that Vampire or Thrall is within two spaces of it.

Patrician's Gift: As a one-handed action, the Vampiric Patrician may offer its gift of Vampirism to an adjacent non-vampire creature. If the creature accepts this gift, that creature immediately regains all lost HP and Will, and one of that creature's non-Vampire class levels becomes Vampire. That creature then choose two of its combat stats and increases those stats each by 1d4. Then, the Vampiric Patrician chooses one spell from its spell list. That creature immediately learns that spell and may cast it once every 24 hours without paying its MP cost. 

Patrician's Judgement: Upon defeating a creature, the Vampiric Patrician chooses one of the following:

-The target is immediately undergoes the effects of Patrician's Gift. If a creature is affected by Patrician's Gift this way, it gains the Vampiric Loyalist personality trait. Vampiric Loyalist: You view the creature that afflicted you with vampirism with adoration and seek to spread vampirism in their name. You cannot willingly target that vampire with attacks or harmful effects. Additionally, you are compelled to obey verbal commands it give you that don't directly put you in harms way.

-The creature becomes indefinitely hypnotized by you until it undergoes a ritual of purification. While hypnotized this way, its Mind, Resolve, and Knowledge each become 1, it loses its personality traits, and it gains the submissive personality trait and one Bimbo personality trait of the Vampiric Patrician's choice. A creature hypnotized this way is considered the Vampiric Patrician's Thrall.
