The vote is over! After a week of voting among both patrons and subscribers, we have an official Best Girl of Long Live the Princess. I have taken the votes from both Patreon and SubscribeStar and added them together. The two sites voted very differently, which means that the results might not be what you expect if you've been paying attention to just one of those polls. But enough preamble! Let's see who the top three girls were, shall we?
In third place, we find Callie with 43 votes. It's two steps down for her after being voted Best Girl of 2019, but time is a cruel mistress. She certainly has her fair share of fans and has no cause for complaint.
In second place with 45 votes is an innocent but competent girl with all kinds of family issues. I'm talking about Nell, of course. Nell was the clear favorite over at SubscribeStar and deserves an honorable mention for taking a third of the votes there and that poll's first place. However, the patrons over at Patreon weren't equally as enamored with Nell. They voted her into their third place, so it averaged out.
And that brings us to the winner. But hey, you've already seen the image attached to this post, so you know who it is: Belle! While Belle has usually struggled in polls like these in the past, this time saw her grabbing 53 votes all for herself, putting her in a comfortable first place. The two sites disagreed strongly about her. SubscribeStar gave her less than 10% of their votes, trailing behind Nell, Callie, and even Evelyn. But on Patreon, the story was entirely different. There, she obtained 26% of the votes, far more than any of the other girls, and since there were more votes in total on Patreon than on SubscribeStar, the winner was obvious.
So, congratulations to Belle for winning Best Girl of Long Live the Princess. May you all enjoy this festive 4K image of her as we leave this eventful year behind us alongside the final version of Long Live the Princess.
It's been a journey.
