Progress Report

Greetings, everyone!

Could someone please tell me who keeps running away with my days? I feel like I wrote last week's progress report yesterday, so someone's got to have been stealing my time from me. I'll sue!


Long Live the Princess

I wrapped up the scripts for the updated Callie/Evelyn scene I talked about last week. That scene was absurdly large and took much longer to update than anticipated. I'm glad to not have to worry about it anymore, and it was the last of its kind in this game.

Once that was done, I updated the Samarra scene mentioned in the previous report AND fully updated her tent sex scene (these are two separate scenes, just to be clear). As an additional bonus, I did something I should have done long ago: I made that scene repeatable, tweaking dialogue and scripts where necessary. That's right! Samarra finally has a repeatable sex scene. Took her long enough.

Finally, I fully updated Nell's initial HJ scene. This is actually the second time I have updated this particular scene, which says a lot about how long it has existed (since version 0.04, to be exact). The main problem with this one was neither framerate nor lighting (though both got updated and improved), but that everything except Nell's hand was way too static. With the latest changes, there's a lot more movement to that scene, which means it should stop bothering me.

There are only two sex scenes left to update now, and they are both relatively small. Additionally, I plan to update the Thaddeus voyeur scenes, which I don't expect will take me long, either. We're getting closer.

Now, before anyone jumps to conclusions and thinks that 1.0 will be ready as soon as all the sex scenes are updated, perish the thought! I still have many features to implement, including achievements, the optional time limit, a reworked vision puzzle, and a large assortment of bug fixes. I don't expect any of those things to take up a lot of time, but since there are many such features to implement, they add up. Nonetheless, progress is good, and everything is going according to the timeline.


Supermodel

What can I say? I keep working on the music. I find this makes for a decent balance with the current intensity of LLtP development, so I will probably keep doing this for a bit longer. I need at least one, but preferably two, pieces of music for the card game prototype I plan to release not long after LLtP version 1.0. 


And that's it. These weekly progress reports can sometimes feel a bit repetitive, but that is merely a reflection of how game development works. It can be repetitive and monotonous, with brief peaks of sheer joy and accomplishment to make it all worthwhile. Business as usual.

i havnt even completed a full playthrough of the free version of your game yet. but i love that it actually "feels" like a game and not just an adult VN. You are the first and only person i have ever supported on patreon and i hope you continue to produce such games.
