It's been a good week for Long Live the Princess, as you'll see below. Right now, I'm feeling quite hopeful about a June release of version 0.41, though I can't give any promises.
Long Live the Princess
Added 10 new pieces of music to the game and integrated them across the entire length of the story, from tutorial to endgame. There might be bugs related to music due to this, mostly with one track interrupting another abruptly. But, with some luck, everything is working perfectly well. In any case, I plan to make a final pass of all this before version 1.00.
With all this new music, the vast majority of the game's quiet sections are now accompanied by music, greatly enhancing the mood and atmosphere. Some existing music got shuffled around a bit in cases where the new music fit better, but nothing has been outright removed. Among other things, you can now expect to hear character themes for Nell, Primrose, and Thaddeus.
Additionally, and perhaps of more interest to many of you, I fully animated one of the two new sexy scenes in version 0.41. This animation shows off something we haven't seen in this game before, and the results turned out quite well.
Supermodel
With the sole exception of the weekly character reveal, I made no progress with Supermodel this week.
