Progress Report

Hi everyone!

It's not going to be the most uplifting of progress reports this week, I'm afraid. Last Saturday, I started feeling sick, and by Monday, that feeling had broken out into a cold. It's the first time I've been sick in two years or so because of the whole Covid situation, so my body didn't seem to know how to deal with this. As a result, I've been horizontal most of this week and in no shape to work on anything, including LLtP.

Despite that, I did do some light work on Primrose's night scene. I set up everything and rendered almost all the still images not meant to be part of animations. Then I got annoyed with the results, scrapped everything, remade the lighting AGAIN, and re-rendered everything once more. And that's where I am right now. Not a whole lot of progress, but at least I got a little done without killing myself in the process.

I'm still sick, by the way, though it feels like the cold is gradually letting go of me. With some luck, I'll have the strength to start animating this scene this weekend, but I'm going to have to take things one day at a time. It's no fun to lose valuable development time like this while you guys and gals are waiting patiently for another update. Still, there's not much I can do except apologize and keep working when I'm able to.

Hopefully, next week's progress report should be far more uplifting.

Until next time!

Thanks for your understanding, everyone. :)

Take care of yourself first. We will still be here when you have recovered. Rest and recuperate.

Belle, JuanA is entirely correct. You've gotta take care of your health. Part of me would love to quote The Princess Bride here as the symmetry of titles is fun, but I can't pull the exact dialog to mind. The fact still remains though: You've given us tons of time, energy, and creativity to enjoy. I feel sure we can give you time to get well.

Your health is important. We know you'll release, and we will love it. Feel better soon!
