Progress Report

This is going to be another routine progress report, so bear with me. Luckily, the one next week should be far juicier, but we'll cover that when we get there.
I have finished all the renders for Callie's second scene and am currently in the middle of writing and coding it. It's going swimmingly, and yet, that is far from quick enough. Only 13 days remain in this month, and the odds of finishing this update before then are diminishing rapidly. I'll do my best, but I wouldn't hold my breath (holding your breath for several weeks can be unhealthy).
This scene turned out to be quite visually pleasing. My growing knowledge of proper lighting is really paying off, making me constantly more annoyed at how poorly lit some of my earlier scenes were. I'm not going to go back and tweak them unless I have to, however, so don't worry about that. The closeups in this scene, in particular, are amazing. I may have mentioned that last week, but it is worth repeating.
So, work continues as usual. I will finish up this scene and move on to the next, doing my utmost to finish it quickly. But if I have to choose between doing it well and doing it fast, I'm going with the former. Quality comes first.
