Progress Report

It's a new month, and I'm starting to feel the pressure of May's arrival. Lots to do if I'm going to get the update out this month.
On the plus side, I finished Callie's first scene, with playtesting and all. I'd say it was a moderately tricky scene to both write and to animate. The next scene on my slate should be more straightforward in both regards, though the final one might be the worst of the bunch. Oh well, you'll get nowhere if you don't start chipping away at a problem in the first place, so that's what I'm going to do.
It's nice to present a slightly different side of Callie in this update. She has always kept you at a distance, even during sex. However, now that she's heading into her romance path, that is no longer the case. She'll make a good girlfriend, I think.
Apart from that, I will be watching the patron/subscriber numbers with great interest this month. We saw a massive boost to the numbers last month, and even though much of that was lost with the usual drop at the beginning of the month, I hope to see it grow back. It is one of the most obvious signs that people like what I make, so it is very personally gratifying to watch those numbers grow.
Anyway, that's it for this week. I'm about to start working on Callie's second scene. It should be a pleasant one if things go according to plan.

I'm not sure people are dropping off after one month, though some obviously do. The first days of a new month are always troublesome for Patreon stats because patrons can run into payment trouble that they have to resolve manually, possibly even through their banks. This makes a dent in the patron count that grows back over the course of the month. I'm used to this, so I don't let it stress me out, though I know other devs who almost get panic attacks when they see this happening the first few times.
