Progress Report
Added 2020-12-05 18:50:12 +0000 UTCAh, yes. Progress. I've made some of that.
The current status is that the opening scene of 0.34, featuring the Fairy Queen, is completed and fully playable in the game. I hope to once again surprise players in various ways with how that encounter turns out.
I'm now moving onto the second scene, which is the biggest single scene I'll make for this update. I have started posing, but not rendering, the required images, of which there will be a lot.
It's refreshing to work on 0.34 after the endless drudgery that was 0.33. While there is a lot of important stuff happening in this one, too, it's far easier to write and pose for than the previous update. I'm feeling pretty good about the work ahead, which should hopefully translate into relatively swift completion. There is still a lot to do, mind you, but it's all relatively straightforward and compartmentalized.
The biggest challenge I expect to face in the upcoming week is the imminent release of Cyberpunk 2077, which I'm definitely going to have to set some time aside for. Never fear, though. December will be a quiet month for me, which means I'll have a lot of spare time to work on LLtP.
Until next time!

I have read the Bourne trilogy novels and enjoyed them, but Ludlum was not a conscious inspiration for Long Live the Princess. I appreciate the kind words about my writing. It's something I take seriously. I prefer not to talk about my real identity, and that includes my language. Let's just say that my main language is some kind of European and leave it at that. I am currently also learning Japanese. I find languages in general to be highly fascinating.
2020-12-09 10:57:16 +0000 UTCBelle, are you familiar with the author Robert Ludlum? The intricate clue trails we go on remind me of his writing. I mean this as a sincere compliment as he has always been my favorite author. Your command of the English language is far above most native speakers. I was surprised to find out that English is not your native language. May I ask what your native language is?

2020-12-09 07:54:19 +0000 UTCNot all clues are meant to be used in puzzles. Some are there to help remind you about important facts or to serve as red herrings during other puzzles.
2020-12-07 13:47:10 +0000 UTCSpeaking of the Fairy Queen, I was never able to connect the clue of the MC being part fey after being saved by the Fairy Queen from the Fairy King's attack. Will we be able to connect the dots this time?

2020-12-06 16:12:54 +0000 UTCThe Banishment ending from the last update ended with you turning towards the old Fairy Queen, so I expected it to be quite obvious which one I was referring to. :)
2020-12-05 21:05:19 +0000 UTCExcellent, thank you! (Which Fairy Queen? Both of them, by any chance?)
