2024-01-22 19:03:02 +0000 UTCi think in this case the reason they didnt show all the scenes with the mom wasnt because of the trope of kdramas but because we were seeing it form gangteas point of view as his memories and feelings were twisted about his mom either from being so young or by the passage of time, and then he was remembering how things truly were with the help of his brother and thats why we saw the full memory. So they were trying to show the character progression this way.
