Well, this week's progress report is going to be a little different, isn't it? Instead of working towards 0.33's completion, I've been reworking 0.32 according to what I described in my other posts earlier this week. If you missed that announcement, I'd suggest going back and reading it. It's important.

I'm happy to report that progress is going very well with the replacement content. I have updated the entire tutorial and gone through almost half of Evelyn's script file so far. The changes have been anything from simple word replacements to completely updated dialogue. Since I'm updating this stuff in chronological order, some of the most difficult changes will be among the last things I do. As such, there are still bumps in the road ahead that need careful maneuvering. Keep in mind that updating Evelyn means manually going over literally more than 10 000 lines of script. It's not a small job, so it takes time, care, and effort.

As I'm updating Evelyn's story, I'm getting a better feel of how this will work out. Certain minor aspects will feel slightly less natural than the original, but I doubt new players would ever notice. Those who have played the original might spot the things I've been noticing, or maybe not. It's nothing important, in any case, so there's no need to worry.

Because of how I'm handling this modification, your existing saves should work perfectly fine once I'm done. I don't expect any challenges in that area.

My estimate of roughly one week to re-release 0.32 holds. We'll see if I make it, but it's looking good so far.
