Progress Report
Added 2020-08-30 15:44:59 +0000 UTCThis week I have focused my attention on rendering new images for a change of pace. With all the story design I did up to this point, I needed to keep things fresh. The rendering has gone very well. At the time of writing, I have 86 brand new images for this update (if you include a remade earlier scene, I'm up to 138 images), including the entirety of a new, animated sex scene.
Speaking of animations, I'm fiddling with an experimental animation for a critical story event in 0.33. I have set it up, and it looks... okay. I'm not an animator by any means, so there are limits to what I can do in a reasonable time frame, but what I have made here should do the job. There are 75 frames in the animation, right now anyway, though I haven't rendered any of them yet. I hope to get that done by tomorrow. It is not a sex-related animation, though there is nudity.
I'm delighted with the atmosphere in the renders so far. The environment in which this scene takes place is very moody and realistic (for the most part). The new element I introduce here looks very good in my test renders indeed. I can't wait to see it in action.
For now, I'm going to continue focusing on setting up renders for a little longer, hoping to maintain this pace.
