Progress Report

Hi everyone!

I bet many of you are getting impatient for a new release by now. I definitely understand, but I've still got a lot to do. I'm always surprised at how much work is involved in creating these scenes, but I keep making substantial progress. 

Right now, I have written two out of five diverging scenes in the middle of the update. To be clear, these are not sex scenes. You're going to be spending a fair chunk of your time in this section when playing it, and this is where you're going to be making some of the most challenging choices (hopefully). The scenes available to you at this point, and how they develop in your game, will depend on what you have done up to this point. You will never see all of these five scenes in one playthrough. 

One of these new scenes focuses on Callie. While writing it, I realized that I needed a few more expressions for her. Because of improvements in the Daz render engine since I originally made her renders, adding an expression or two meant I'd have to render all of them from scratch. I decided that I might as well go all-in and fix the rookie mistakes I made back then. As a result, you should expect to see all of Callie's dialogue look a little better and more convincing (with a bit more cleavage) soon. 

Speaking of Daz, the bug I struggled with has not been fixed, nor has the company responded to my support requests. In the meantime, I chose to track down an earlier version to install, and that seems to have worked perfectly. This means that I'm back in action on the rendering front and won't have to wait for the Daz developers to solve my problems for me. Hooray! It's back to having my computer work on renders every night while I sleep. With 567 images currently in the 0.31 image folder (most of them being improved versions of existing scenes), you'd better believe that I've kept the renderer busy since the previous version's release.

So, what's left for this version? I've still got to polish these two scenes. After that, I have four more to write and implement, one of which will be more demanding than the others because it's a sex scene. Still, I feel like I've got a good flow right now. The toughest writing is mostly out of the way. 

Can I finish this update before the end of the month? I honestly don't know. It's my goal, at least, but my biggest priority right now is to do the endgame right.
