Progress Report

All right, it's a new month, and you know what that means. 

That's right, it's time to talk about what I'm making for the next version. Well, at least part of what I'm making. I'm not going to talk about the scenes I plan to do but haven't started yet.

If you've played the last update, you'll know that you can finally learn the Probe Memories spell, though there is no content for it. That's what I'm aiming to fix right now. For the past week, I've been hard at work posing and rendering the images needed for the game's first Probe Memories scene, and boy, what a scene it's going to be! I'm really excited about it.

Since the MC doesn't feature in this scene (it's someone else's memories, after all), I don't have to feel restrained by the first-person view. This means I can go crazy with camera angles and make the whole thing more film-like, in a way. I'm using framing techniques that I've been aware of for a long time but never had a chance to use in practice, and it's a lot of fun. Combine this with the largest number of unique renders in any sex scene (oh yes, it's a sex scene) in the game so far, and this should turn into something quite special.

By the way, in case anyone is worried that you'll be seeing your favorite girl's memories of fooling around with some other guy, worry not. That's not what I'm aiming to do with this spell. 

It's just been one week since the last update was released. Still, I've already managed to churn out a whopping 82 new renders, with four more in the pipeline for overnight rendering. Even better, none of these renders are variations based on pubic hair or costumes. They're all unique, though some are the same pose seen from different camera angles while some are moving heads for dialogue. None of them are part of animations either because of a new method I'm experimenting with for how to most effectively create new scenes without getting bogged down by animation concerns. The result is that I can focus on making the scene work in the game before I need to add any animations. This means I can better plan for how much time I have to make them in the first place. I hope to have a wide variety of animation loops for this single scene, hopefully at the same level of quality as you saw in the latest Leanan Sídhe and Belle scenes.

So, who's the lucky girl that you get to use Probe Memories on, I hear you ask. Oh, but you already know the answer to that, don't you?
