Progress Report
Added 2020-02-19 19:07:21 +0000 UTCWhat, it's been a week since the last progress report already? Where does the time go?
I'm still working on the same scene as last time, though the puzzle itself is done (needing only a bit of polish at this point), and the images are posed and mostly rendered. There is a lot of work involved in setting up these Invade Mind sequences, especially when they get as big as this. I believe this will be the most extensive such sequence in the entire game. It makes sense, though, considering how I have been placing clues for it ever since the first updates I made 2 1/2 years ago.
There is another scene I'd love to make this month, but I'm starting to suspect I won't have the time. This is because I must tweak a lot of supporting content due to the events that happen in 0.29, and that takes time too. This means that there's unlikely to be any new sex scenes in this version, which is a shame. It makes up for it with the biggest, most important story reveals you've seen so far, though.
The lack of sex scenes as we head into the endgame is going to be a problem, I think. The endgame won't feature more than one or two of those before the epilogue. I'm forced to juggle the needs of the story and the baser needs of players in the time to come. More on that later.
A final tease before I sign off: The events of 0.29 will likely start to connect the dots in another mystery that has haunted players for a while. I can't wait to see how people react to that.
Until next time!

The story is your Unique Selling Point. This is one of the very VERY few games that actually have a compelling story. This is your forte. Sure, boobs are important :-) but there are tonnes of games with boobs, but few of them are as interesting as yours is.

2020-02-20 22:38:58 +0000 UTCDisillusionment is a potential problem for anyone who makes a living on crowdfunding. If patrons lose faith in the game or the developer's vision, funding could drop off dramatically. I've seen otherwise good devs lose a lot of support because their patrons stopped believing in them (and I've seen some recover from that kind of thing). I'm not too worried about that kind of thing within the scope of LLtP. However, it could theoretically become a problem with whatever game, if any, I make next. Odds are some people will be disappointed in the direction I choose to go in when it's not exactly the same as LLtP.
