i-land is from 2020, also the ages used in the subtitles aren't international age. Ni-ki and Daniel were both 14, and Ta-ki was 15. Pls be careful while watching bc mnet evil editing was crazy. Ni-ki got so much hate during it, they really tried to portray him in a negative light and make him the villain. 😵💫

I’m sad you aren’t continuing Peak Time. 😢 Here’s the song you saw in the preview. https://youtu.be/cstwOS12BV0?si=CHi70_qd9SrXkSAI

I’m not sure if it was evil editing or just the concept itself, but I got fed up with the I-Landers vs Grounders concept real fast. The resource disparity between the two groups was over the top. I definitely preferred the second half of the show much more. They all look so young, especially Taki and Niki.

You’ve got to give it to Asian survival shows 😂 they always so extra! Not like Americans or European survival shows where the concept is just overused and same production every time 😭 So I don’t know about you but I really enjoy that this survival show is so extra! It’s like I’m watching a survival show but also a movie 😳
I love how they’re creative with the concept on the survival shows so we don’t always have to follow the same old boring ass concept of how a survival show should be. There’s always that extra flavour 🤌🏼

I agree with you there’s definitely a bias when it comes to contestants from south East Asia. And you see it time after time in the Korean survival shows unfortunately.
With that being said I do believe the vote this time was fair. I didn’t really see potential in Hanbin. Yes he was some what good at dancing but he didn’t have that “star quality” or that charisma or aura to him when he performed. I felt that he was lacking. But that’s just my personal opinion.

i quite liked the system of trainees voting on each other. They actually get to know each other and stuff like editing can't influence the decision (though I'm aware that as a trade off, group dynamics are gonna mess with things a lot more) . From a viewer-centered point of view it also just makes for good drama.
