Progress Report

Last week I told you that I wasn't ready yet to reveal what the focus of this month's update will be, though I said to you that I was working on a Fairy Queen scene. This week, however, I am ready.
This month's update focuses on the Leanan Sídhe. This should hardly come as a surprise after the events of 0.20, but plans have a tendency to change at the last minute, so I wasn't prepared to commit officially to it at the time.
I've finished the renders (and editing in Photoshop) for the first scene with her, though some stuff happens after her scene that will need adding later. I haven't started writing and implementing the scene yet, but I expect to begin work on that later today.
This new scene was an ideal one to test out an experiment in basic breast physics, and while I obviously haven't been able to see the results in the game yet, the renders absolutely look promising. I can't want to see how it all looks when it's fully implemented.
I don't expect to finish the Leanan Sídhe's content this month, but I'll try to get as far as possible. I'm planning to fully finish her story before moving on since it directly affects other aspects of the game that need to be in place for other girls to be completed. You'll know what I mean when you play this update.
Fair warning: You may soon find that letting Primrose get arrested has more substantial long-term consequences than expected. It won't just be about how well she likes you.
Anyway, that's it for this time. I've obviously got a ton of work ahead of me this month, and every minute I spend writing this post is another minute I can't spend creating new scenes. ;)

While Belle is great at writing comedic dialogue and could probably make that work, there is another possibility. It's possible that the protagonist has noticed the door, but was informed by Merek or Primrose that it was just a closet. Then there could be an unusually cold day, and he decides to wear a cloak. When he goes to put it in the "closet," he discovers the scriptorum. You could have a conversation between Belle and the protagonist about him never using the "closet" before. The protagonist could reference his early laziness by saying that if it was cold enough to need a cloak, he couldn't be bother to attend his lessons or something.

2019-05-27 06:22:10 +0000 UTCIt's not as silly as you might think. I could do something like what you suggest, but have it happen at a much later point in the game. By keeping Primrose free, you basically get a lot more time to play around in there before the Princess arrives. I'm going to have to think about it.
2019-05-23 18:58:55 +0000 UTCFigured as much, I just found the idea of Belle and the PC suddenly noticing the door funny. Like Belle asking how he never noticed the door before and the PC replying that he is not a clever man. A silly idea and not a suggestion to be taken seriously.
