Progress Report

Hi patrons!

I know I'm a little late with the progress report this time. It's been gnawing at me for the past few days, but I've put it off for as long as possible so that I'd have more to say. Stupid of me, I know, but sometimes I am my own worst enemy. So, enough procrastinating! Here's what's happening with LLtP right now:

It's Nell time! Nell will be the sole focus of version 0.17. Unlike with Callie, I expect to only use this one update on her before moving on, even if I can't finish everything I want to do right away. I know many of you want to move the main story along, and I'm finally at the point where I think it would be a good idea. No guarantees yet, but that's what it looks like.

Anyway, Nell! She might give the impression that she's a minor character in this game, but she's actually quite important in a lot of ways. That left me with a bunch of ways I could have taken 0.17, and that delayed everything because I just couldn't decide what to do with her. 

Fear not, however! I finally made up my mind and chose a course to take with her in the short term. My immediate concern will be to develop Nell's romance path. You've seen what this might look like with Primrose, and Nell's will follow the same principles, though with a twist. Primrose was notoriously tricky to seduce at times. Nell won't be. The question is, do you actually want to romance her? Your choices in Nell's romance path will have severe repercussions on a bunch of things down the line, at least if everything goes according to plan. The obvious choice might not necessarily be correct. Not that any choice is "correct" in this game outside of the Invade Mind sequences. I want all decisions to be meaningful, and that means making all the options important in different ways.

In other news, I seem to have caught some kind of stomach bug that has utterly drained me of energy since yesterday or so. I don't think it's anything serious, but we'll see. It does make it hard to focus on creative work like this though, and that sucks. I'm doing the best I can, considering the circumstances. I mean, I just finished posing 10 renders minutes ago.
