If you have a time you can react to camp zerobase one(3 ep verity show), kstar next door ep 1 & 2, they are so good. Zb1 is full vocal grp, their live vocals are amazing specially hao & taerae have such a powerful solid vocals & hanbin has beautiful lighter vocal tone ❤️

2023-08-20 16:14:09 +0000 UTCI hope you can read all of this even if it's long. I was so looking forward to seeing your reaction. Here are my thoughts on Boys Planet, particularly the finale and the group that has now debuted with the song "in bloom". Firstly, you weren't really shocked probably because you weren't really paying attention to the rankings and didn't follow the episodes when it was happening. Yujin debuting in 9th place is quite surprising because, as you can hear, the fans in the room were already shouting out his name when 4th place was announced. A lot of people thought he would be 3rd. For Jiwoong personally, I wasn't too surprised but it's true that I was expecting a higher ranking. Gyuvin, on the other hand, wasn't very popular internationally, even though he's really adorable, but in Korea people liked him a lot, and he was always in the top 9, so his position isn't surprising. For Taerae I wasn't expecting it despite his popularity, it's true that personally I haven't paid much attention to Taerae but currently in zerobaseone, I've become very attached to him and he's so sweet. The 5th place is the one that surprised me the most, I really wanted Gunwook to debut but he was never in the top 9 and he suddenly got the 5th place... A very high rank. I was also very surprised for Ricky, he was only once in the top 9 during the eliminations but it's true that Ricky brought a lot of visibility to Boys Planet thanks to his "young and rich, tall and handsome", from there a lot of people supported him so even despite the difficulties he encountered in training he still got 4th place. For third place I was also really surprised, Matthew had received a lot of hate and had dropped to 9th place so to see him ranked so high is really incredible but actually now that I think about it it's not surprising given the number of fans he has. Finally Zhang Hao and Sung Hanbin. I personally wanted Hanbin to keep first place because I've liked Hanbin a lot since the first episode and seeing him keep it for so long despite all the hatred and hardship made me get attached to the rank but I'm so proud of him and Zhang Hao that when I think about it it doesn't really matter. Hanbin, even in the finale ep, was still first place in Korea despite being in second place with all the votes, Korea really loves him and I'm touched to see his impact, while internationally way more than in Korea, lot of people had thrown hate at him : fatphobia, homophobia (after seeing his dance videos), and even more so after taking the main vocal part of hot summer. People underestimated his vocals. Zhang Hao had also received hate after his old posts were discovered, but that had been a while ago. Unjustified and pointless hatred. Zhang Hao still proudly climbed to the top spot. I think it's particularly because in Girls planet, there were three centers Dayeon, Yurina, Xiaoting: Yurina and Xiaoting often exchanged first place during the eliminations and were really the most popular duo, they were best friends but suddenly in the final ep, Yurina didn't debut with Xiaoting despite often taking second or first place and Xiaoting dropped to ninth place which was very shocking. Fans suspected Mnet of manipulating the votes because Xiaoting was Chinese etc... So Zhang Hao's fans were desperate to avoid another surprise. His fans thought he wouldn't debut and that, like in Girls Planet... Only one center was going to debut and it would be Hanbin, not Hao. They were particularly scared because we were all very attached to the Haobin duo, so their separation would have been horrible. Hao's fans invented that Hao was currently in 13th place, so a lot of people panicked. What's more, Hao was gaining in popularity with each episode, especially after Tomboy. In any case, ZB1 is now like a family. They have very strong bonds and it shows. Matthew and Hanbin the bestie, debuted together, the Yuehuaz (those from the Yuehua agency : Ricky, Yujin, Hao, Gyuvin) are together, Jiwoong has finally found his place after going through hell in his past and Haobin are also closer than ever. However, fans suspect that Wakeone is hiding this duo because of certain events. Hanbin calls Hao "the eternal other half of his soul" and is so encouraging towards Hao, he's extremely proud of him and Hao is constantly glued to Hanbin, to the point where it almost seems like they can't be separated, their friendship is really beautiful. Zhang Hao is our proud center of ZB1 and Sung Hanbin has been chosen as the leader of ZB1... Hanbin really is the perfect choice for this position. Throughout boys planet, people who knew him before were talking about him and saying what a good person he is and how he is extremely attentive to all the members. I think it would be great to watch Camp ZEROBASEONE because there are only 3 episodes and it's really funny, in this show you get to see their personalities really well. There's also the tingle interview which is a video with Haobin which is extremely adorable but it's not that important, it would just be fun to watch together. AH also, you talked about the lipsync in the performances hot summer and jelly pop, I advise you to look at the ZB1 versions of these performances, the ones that were performed at FANCON, their own concert. If you search for "Hot summer fancon" and "Jelly Pop fancon" you'll find the performances, this time they're all singing live. Taerae does the high note in Jelly pop that Lee Hoe Taek used to do and Hanbin does the high note that he used to do in Hot summer, it's very impressive and you can see that they would have been 100% capable of doing it live in boys planet.

2023-08-20 10:56:21 +0000 UTCwell as a zhang hao fan i thought he was out of top9 honestly(when interim ranking showed that hanbin dropped to 3rd place the whole rosinville were in trenches, we convinced themselves that he was filler pick and nugu). and plus he's foreigner he's CHINESE, so it wouldn't be surprising if he was gonna rigged out too. and many ppl at that time thought that yujin is gonna be the candidate for top1(he's one of the most popular members in korea), not hao, so it was shocking. Zhang Hao made history, gagged the mnet and korean industry. 1pick system is fr no joke, the most shocking reveals was:ricky(he's chinese too), gunwook and hao.

I didn't pay much attention to Gyuvin on the show, but starting from that last episode speech - I've just really been appreciating him for being part of ZB1. They all seem close, but Gyuvin literally thinks Yujin is his son :D and has a really funny 'Tom & Jerry' relationship with Ricky... they constantly tease each other, but also seem to really appreciate each other. - Matthew and Hanbin trained together, but also remained really close when they were in different companies - taking trips together, Matthew visiting Hanbin's house often, they also talk about being real family in some of their variety/fansigns... and they honestly seem to be taking the statement to heart with Matthew's uncle holding an event at Hanbin's mom's cafe, etc. - Matthew and Jiwoong really became close during the show, esp. after that little incident with Say My Name... they were/are actually one of the bigger ships as well (Mattwoong/Ppusamz). - Taerae used to have jam sessions at the dorm it seems, where Yujin and Gunwook were frequent appearances.. I think Gyuvin as well. - Matthew and Hao worked together since the first episodes, but they both also got very close with Keita.. even now they seem to keep in touch. So they got close because of being in G-group and also apparently seem to share a taste in friends haha. - Jiwoong, the oldest, seems to have a really tight relationship with Yujin, who is the youngest in the group. He also said he is a bit more attentive to Gyuvin and Matthew who were in the same team for Love Killa. - Taerae and Matthew are the same age, which is a big deal in terms of relations and friendship in Korea, and they have really gone from 0 to 100... From saying they're a bit weird with each other in the beginning, to literally saying they're best friends now lol - Haobin are Haobin, don't think I need to say anything more. Anyway, thank you for bearing with. I'm going to post some stuff about the rest of BP.

For context chn trainees or foreign are usually paid dust in these shows Xiaoting of girls planet consistently ranked 1st only to barely make the group at nine. There's more nuance to be held.

I dont really see a problem with it in most cases including this mainly because we always get to see how talented they are with singing and dancing in other cases. So when they do lipsync it doesn't bother me cause ik how talented they are already.

Obsession with perfection was always a case for those programs, and such is a decision of production crew to make it this way. We know these boys can sing, they showed us plenty before. So I hope you don't feel it's them (the boys performing) who wanna easy way around it lmao I remember balling like hell through some speeches... Like Gyuvin (r7) was never my pick (nothing against him, I just voted for some other trainees) but after his finale I found him so sweet and thoughtful that Im so glad he made the team! Gunwook (r5) was my 1pick so I got so emotional when he got called lol. Funny when u spoke about parents of idols knowing each other - I think most do? Like u mentioned SKZ, they for sure have each other numbers (one episode of skz variety had a bit about Felix asking his mom to call Changbins mom etc...). So I think in some, if not most groups, parents at least know of each other. You joke about r 1-2 being "surprising" but Hao fans were absolutely losing it before finale... It wouldnt have been the first time the Chinese trainee would drop off on the finale, despite ranking high whole show. Power of one pick is massive and sadly so is general dislike for China in SK.... So fans had a reason to be stressed. Also Yujin wasn't called for a long while and he always ranked pretty high (plus hes Korean, which always helps). Also the finale was dubbed Haobins wedding and you cant convince me otherwise :) Hao dethroning the mighty Hanbin was indeed gag of the century. First foreign trainee to rank 1st on Mnet survival show? He made history. And in all fairness, I think if Hanbin was to surrender his rank 1 to someone, Hao was the most deserving one of them all. Also by going up the stairs together, they kinda cemented it being "their" achievement, as friends, soulmates, whatever u wanna call it. Also there was a recording, when they were both sitting, Hao in 1st place, Hanbin called him and said "it suits you (the 1st place)". They just threw r9 out so fast (no candidates or anything) because their broadcast time was coming to an hour that minors (like Yujin) have a curfew. As in, they literally cannot be shown on tv after 11pm or something like that. I hope you will react to some content from zb1! They are slaying records and are entertaining like hell. Camp Zerobaseone reaction "soon" :D? Don't feel pressured ofc, take your time and film what you want, whenever you want. If you wanna watch more of them, I recommend Boys Planet ep 13 (a little recap and to learn more about them) ZeroBaseOne on It's live (no lipsync, I would say) K Star Next Door (2 episodes, with live singing at the end) Camp ZeroBaseOne (really fun to watch) ZeroBaseOne Folder The more I watch of them , the more I love them because they are a bunch of 9 total dorky goofballs with great chemistry imo.
