Progress Report

I hope you've all been enjoying the latest version of the game. It's always good to finish off these updates and start with a "blank slate" for the new month, and this time is no different.
My focus for 0.12 so far hasn't been on adding any new scenes or story content, but on adding a much requested and much-needed feature: A gallery. I plan to expand this to feature things like an image viewer, music player, and achievements in the future, but for now, the focus is on allowing you to replay scenes you've unlocked while playing the game. So far I have added support for six of the existing scenes through this gallery, with four more remaining (unless I've missed something). While doing this, a couple of early scenes stuck out as particularly outdated to me, especially the blowjob scene at Callie's store. Since I was tweaking these scenes anyway, I decided to give them an overhaul in how I manage transitions and fades, making these old scenes feel more like the latest ones I've created. So, expect a minor facelift for some of the old content as part of this update.
I probably won't add any of the night scenes to the gallery for now. These scenes are massively complex and perform a whole bunch of checks against your ability scores. Since replays aren't directly tied to your save, you don't actually have any abilities during the replay. This complicates things. The way I see it, night scenes should probably be unlocked in the gallery once they've been taken to their logical conclusion, and we just aren't at that point yet.
I expect to spend some time over the upcoming week polishing and finalizing the gallery feature, and then I'll move on to creating new content for you guys to enjoy when September arrives. Naturally, the gallery feature does take away some of the time I would have been able to spend on pure content creation, so don't expect too much. But don't expect too little, either. I have many big things in the pipeline. Chief among them is the abilities, most of whom have been left neglected for a while.

More or less. It's something people have been asking for, in one way or another, since the beginning of the project. This was the perfect moment for me to dig into it.

From the game's main menu, you click a button that brings you to another menu from where you can select one of the scenes you've come across and play it again. For example, let's say you've played enough of LLtP to come across Belle's scene where she wakes you up with a, uh... bodyjob. This scene only plays once and then it's gone. With the gallery, you can just click on the icon for this scene and play it as many times as you desire. When the scene is over, you are returned to the gallery. An added bonus is that you can easily see if you've missed any scenes during your playthrough. I intend to organize this menu according to character, so you can easily see if a girl has a scene you missed, helping you hunt it down.
