Boys Planet Episode 7

Boys Planet Episode 7

Comments

The hate against Daeul started with his episode 4 edit though, the 'first survivor' thing was just icing on the cake. The live stages were filmed like a week after that so the impression of him not deserving his high placement was still very fresh, and people hadn't quite registered the fact that his words were effectively twisted through the editing (yes he did say he wanted to keep his part to his Danger teammates, but his justification was completely cut ; and the justification was that he was a slow learner, so if he had to switch parts he would end up doing even worse on his new one ; Mnet let that explanation out so it painted Daeul as selfish).

Ma jing Xiang forgot personality matters too. he was too greedy and eager so he forgot his personality mattered too.

So Daeul, at no fault of his own, was getting a lot of hate at this time. The last/first survivor announcement had a live broadcast. It showed all the trainees coming out and introducing themselves and the 13th place, which was Daeul. Many people were upset after this. They did expect more from the live or even the announcement of a trainee who they thought deserved it more. I am not sure if Mnet thought people would be happy to see he was high since he was somewhat popular or if they wanted to make people upset. Before the announcement, it felt like not many people really had any strong feelings for him good or bad but after a lot of people seemed to take their anger out on him. Also, I-Chan, the one who came first in the performance, had a solid fanbase before the start of the show because he was a Hybe trainee and was in the same survival competition that formed Enhypen.

lmaooo hanbin flirting with gunwook is probably the wildest thing i’ve ever heard…that’s his and zhang hao’s (just barely) 18 year old son… trust me, you really don’t have to overanalyze every interaction hanbin has with other people with BL shipper goggles because haobin themselves are so crazy obvious head over heels in love with one another that you’d have to be blind to not see it. hanbin has called him “the other half of his soul” on more than one occasion… also, i know someone else already commented this on the last episode, but i kind of felt it again here… it seemed like you were kind of hanbin tunnel visioning to the point of even making zhang hao’s win about him rather than hao’s own talent and hard work? saying that he’ll be 1st next week and that should teach hanbin not to help others. i realize it probably wasn’t on purpose, but it just came across a bit like that. i understand being obsessed with hanbin because he’s quite literally perfect and it’s what he honestly deserves, but this episode made it clear that hao helped and supported hanbin just as much as hanbin did him; it was part of what made it so wholesome to watch, these two guys who are usually the ones leading and comforting other people, letting themselves be vulnerable with one another and receiving that same comfort themselves. i know it might seem like a bit of an overreaction, but i think a lot of us fans are quite conscious of things like this as a lot of viewers were pretty nasty to him earlier on in the show, calling him things like “nugu center” (i.e. a nobody) and questioning why he was selected since he wasn’t as popular back then…and don’t even get me started on how people wouldn’t talk about his skills but instead jokingly reduced to being “the heterophobe” after a social media post he made a couple of years ago resurfaced. anyway…i just think he deserves all the love and respect. and i hope you can forgive him for stealing your man’s heart.

Haobin are so wholesome and it fills my heart with so much joy tbh 💗Also Man in Love, Tomboy & Limousine are the cover stages I still have on repeat to this day. Man in Love just makes you feel like you can conquer anything

Thank you so much for upload! I hope you do feel better and I hope you'll keep enjoying the BL Planet. Take as many breaks as you need and prioritize yourself :). Looking forward to your reactions to some extra content that was posted in comments under different vids. It can be overwhelming but you get to see the boys in so much more casual and wholesome light on those behind-the-scenes videos. For this episode... The whole deal with Shuaibo (silver hair in "Feel Special") stage was widely discussed online. As much as some of his "bad attitude" was just plain on display, some (particularly chinese-speaking audience) argued that he was mistranslated (when korean subs gave the impression of him blaming Woongki about choreo, it was actually an issue that mnet did not provide them with translator since Shuaibo does not speak korean). Chinese is particularly tricky to translate accurately in general since its a tonal language. There were rumors of some conflicts between some chinese contestants and staff which lead to unpleasant situations. Ofc we can only judge on what was presented to us but damn, if I know one thing its that Mnet will try to milk any opportunity for a drama... They will take it. Also I love how the title of ep.7 was "Two is Better". Looking at the fact that internet was already loving the 2-centers as a duo to die for, its quite amazing to see their friendship blossom and how they support each other. Not surprisingly the ship at that point was not only sailing, it was winning freaking regattas. Also they totally know about it as some of the early pr-videos (a short tiktok with both of them) and comments left online by Hanbin mention "look forward to Haobin in the future". Looking forward to future eps :)

Another evening well spent. I love your love for Sung Hanbin. And just as you said, he deserves ALL the hype and ALL the high ranks. He's just so unbelievably talented and humble and so real and has the biggest heart ever. Also fun fact, he has tattoos too, hiding underneath all those long sleeves and shirt collars... Hehe. And Ricky's tattoo is so beautiful and so meaningful. It says "rolemodel", because he wishes to become someone's rolemodel some day. I love going through this show again with you. All your analysis, comments and jokes. And no, we really don't mind the jokes. I hope this episode managed to cheer you up a little. Your reaction to it cheered up my day a lot. Also if you need some more good content, I highly recommend watching those videos the previous commenter linked, they are hilarious! I will drop some links to compilation videos of Sung Hanbins old dance videos. They are life and he is our lord and saviour.. You'll love these dances, I just know it. He is just so.. Hnnnghg. Mnet really de-yassified him. Badly. Be prepared. Here comes: https://youtu.be/dfLte4876VI https://youtu.be/geoUW-0QYwg https://youtube.com/shorts/U5Z6rChqorg?feature=share Also maybe few of Zhang Hao.. For.. You know. Research purposes. Fun fact, he is also into waacking. It just isn't really brought up in the show. Match made in heaven, eh? https://youtu.be/INf9uTZVpZc https://youtube.com/shorts/EsavbjuDZzw?feature=share https://youtu.be/P9La8cdL_zE
