Progress Report
Added 2018-07-17 18:10:36 +0000 UTCWell, here we are again. I don't want to reveal too much about version 0.11 of Long Live the Princess, lest I spoil the fun when you finally get your hands on it. :)
I've been mostly working on finishing up the stuff I mentioned in the previous progress report. My 0.11 image folder now counts 71 renders, and that's not including 22 "special," smaller renders (it'll make sense when you play the update).
I'm having a lot of fun writing the dialogue in this one. Belle gets a lot to say, and she's as sassy and perverted as ever.
Returning to some of the earlier characters in the game, it's easy for me to notice how my skills and my approach to dialogue and renders has evolved since I started making the game almost a year ago. When I first started, most of the girls only had a select few renders each when talking to them, and rarely did they open or close their mouths depending on whether or not they were talking. I ran into this issue with both Evelyn and Primrose, and I'm running into it again with another character right now. I ended up rendering a few alternate versions of existing images to use for her new scenes, and I'll probably go back and update her earlier scenes to use these new ones at some point too, but maybe not in this update.
This part of the month is always kind of stressful. It feels like there's no time at all left until I have to release the update, yet there's still so much I'd like to do. I'll just have to push on and squeeze in what I can in the time I have.

Something similar happened to me. Disconnect your discords from patreon and reconect that at least how I got working

2018-07-27 11:42:29 +0000 UTCHmm, I had something similar happen to me when I increased my pledge for a different Patreon recently. Maybe the bots are acting up? I don't control them directly, so I can't make them fix the situation for you, but when it happened to me, I delinked my Discord and Patreon accounts while I was logged out from Discord, and then linked them back together. A couple of hours later, everything was working fine. It's frustrating and I don't know why it happens, especially since I've never heard of this happening before very recently.

I was demoted to the $1 role when I had to lower my pledge, but then I lost access to all channels when I raised my pledge to $10 again. Is it because I only paid $9 this month to go from 1 to 10, so the discord didn't know what role to give me?

And since your storytelling surprised me by not following the most typical tropes for adult games, I'm interested to see what you do with her once you come around to her. Don't feel being pressured to ad her soon, because that wasn't my intent. I was just curious, if she's a planned character.

I'm currently focusing on the existing characters and I might still drop one or two of my planned characters if I can't make them fit logically into the narrative, but the priestess is at least planned. She's mentioned for a reason.
2018-07-17 18:33:20 +0000 UTCI was wondering … When Nell and the protagonist are in the Belltower there is a mention of a Priestess of that church. Are there plans on including her as a character in the game at some point or the priests of that church. In the process of coronation usually a religious leader is involved. Or was that just a sidenote?
