Well then, it looks like we're past the $3500 goal, hopefully for good. That means we'll be getting side stories in the game. What does this mean in practical terms? Not much right now, but I'll start adding this over time. Most importantly though, the fact that we've achieved this goal shows that I've got the most awesome patrons I could have wished for. Thank you, everyone! I really, really appreciate your support.

Anyway, Side Stories. Basically, they will let you learn a new spell that unlocks memories from other characters and allows you to see things that have already happened. Exactly how I'll use this is somewhat up in the air, but its primary purpose is to allow us to see parts of the story that don't directly involve the player character.

I'll probably involve $10 patrons in figuring out how to use this feature in a way that players will enjoy the most. Stay tuned.

As for my progress over the past week, among other things I've fixed a couple of bugs, including the one where Evelyn shows up to tell you about Primrose's impending arrest even if she already left town. Now another character will show up if Evelyn is missing. Who is this character, you ask? You'll have to try it to see for yourself. ;)

I've also rendered a series of jail images for Primrose. As mentioned previously, you'll be able to visit her in prison and keep investigating the murder of Merek even after your time limit from 0.9 has passed. If you finished the investigation in time, you'll never see these prison scenes. On the other hand, they come with a cost for those who see them.

Next up is adapting existing scenes to work in prison. That's going to be a dull task, but it needs to be done.

Finally, I added scrolling credits to the game. The only way to see them now is to click the credits button on the main menu, but eventually they'll show up at the end of the story. If you're a $20 patron who has asked to be shown in the credits, this is where you'll find your chosen name. If you are a $20 patron and haven't been contacted about this, have no fear. I'll get around to you before the next release.
