Progress Report #1 - 0.9
Added 2018-05-04 07:05:07 +0000 UTCYeah, that is a flowchart you're looking at (kinda). I have pixelated it to avoid spoiling anything specific, but let's just say that the majority of that chart concerns use of our good old spells.
This was what I originally intended to add to the game with version 0.6, but I couldn't make all the pieces fit together. I banged my head against the wall for a week, gave up, and went to my backup solution at the time, which was to write new content for Evelyn. Now, however, I have managed to make the pieces fit. It took me a week again, but this time I have no reason to give up.
So what is this all about? Well, I'm hesitant to say too much in advance, but this time I'll make an exception since I'd otherwise have little to talk about in the coming month. This also comes with a whole bunch of caveats, first and foremost the fact that I might not be able to finish the entirety of this new content with 0.9. In fact, I think it is unlikely that I'll be able to do so. Expect this new stuff to be spread across two versions, 0.9 and 0.10, but we'll get back to that as we see how things progress.
On your second day in this game, Truthsayer Merek was murdered. The identity of the murderer was unknown. A week later, Samarra and Nell showed up to investigate the murder and discover the truth.
Now, Samarra has uncovered enough evidence to convince her that the culprit is none other than Primrose. She intends to arrest her for the murder. You have limited time if you want to save Primrose from that fate, but are you honestly ready to face the truth behind what happened?
And what if Samarra's theory turns out to be correct? Will you be able to stand aside and let justice happen?

You could also lay low with Primrose for a while. I don't think my 3 courage can take going up directly against Samarra, but I'm betting Erato can keep her safe. Especially with my oh so selfless donations I'm making. Oh and with a couple more remove inhibitions, we might convince Primrose to join in.

I mean, after Belle stops laughing at the idea of the MC outsmarting someone. Samarra would either want to interrogate her with Nell or the MC as a truthseer. You just have to incapacitate Nell somehow. GENTLY of course, because I like Nell. But maybe a sleep spell or some mild food poisoning (sorry babe!) or something that would result in the MC being blameless, but also responsible for the "is she speaking the truth?" questions. Then you just lie through your teeth.

Hire several burly thug types to back you up just in case. If all else fails, there's always Belle, she could fly up her and bop her in the nose.
