Progress Report

We're halfway through November by this point, so how are things progressing with version 0.3?

The answer is "very well." I've been taking new features and implementing them fully before moving on to new things, which means that I'm already able to play around with and test these features and scenes. With versions 0.15 and 0.20, this was not the case. I spent most of the time with those versions rendering new scenes and writing dialogue, and spent a few days at the very end putting it all into the game. That turned out to be very stressful and increased the risk of bugs. I'm trying to avoid that now.

So far I have implemented a new graphical user interface featuring a brand new inventory screen, an ability screen, information on the current day and time, and several other quality-of-life improvements. I have also implemented two sexy new scenes that I have been looking forward to creating since before I even started work on version 0.1. A third scene has been written but not added to the game's code. 

The rest of the month will be spent on adding more scenes. The focus will be on expanding and exploring existing content and characters. These should bring the game's story forward in an appreciable way. I don't know how many of my plans I will have the time to implement, but I will be trying to add as many of them as humanly possible. 

With that out of the way, I'll just get back to work...
