Ngl the first time I watched this ep I immediately switched into disliking it after the sex scene. I've seen too much romanticised SA I didn't really pay attention to what came after. I was interested to see you take and rewatching it made me appreciate this show could be smart and have some interesting things to say. I'm still wary, but willing to try future episodes and see what they have to say. I initially really loved that we might be getting a specific look at a more fem-presenting lead and the issues that come with that, like how at the beginning the boss guy was looking at him in a slightly covetous way and the prejudice from a young age. I hope it really explores some of that potential because if it does it could be pretty unique in the bl genre. I shall wait to see what happens.

As someone who is diagnosed with Complex PTSD and Hypervigilance, I thought this is one of the better dramas that shows more of the realistic trauma people have. The PTSD reactions are not sugar coated or just blown over, as some other popular dramas seem to do. It will be interesting to see how this BL continues with this in their storyline.
