What to expect in 0.2 and the timetable

Version 0.1 of the game focused mostly on building a robust platform on which to quickly add new content in the future. Evelyn serves as a demonstration of where I'm heading with upcoming scenes. With the foundation built in 0.1, I can easily plug in scenes in whatever order I feel like without breaking anything (famous last words).
While things may change depending on any number of factors, the current plan is to get version 0.2 out by the end of October. It will then be immediately available for $5 and up patrons, followed by a public release in December (which will probably be accompanied by a 0.3 release for patrons, but we'll get back to that later).
Content-wise, 0.2 is likely going to focus on the early scenes for the library girl (Primrose) and the tailor (Callie), hopefully bringing them to a level equal to that of Evelyn. I can't completely predict how much I can create in a single month yet so it will be interesting to see what kind of pace I can keep. Rest assured I will charge ahead at ludicrous speed if at all possible. :)
Other upcoming content includes a money and inventory system, along with shops. I don't expect to touch these features until 0.2 is done.
These coming months are going to be fun!

I agree. All too often developers fall into the trap of making sex the "reward" for going through the motions and completing a series of quests. Ironically, porn game developers seem to be better at avoiding this trope than large AAA-developers like, say, Bioware. As for Long Live the Princess, I will be forced to deal with this issue in one way or another since the story is nonlinear. If we assume that the story takes 30 in-game days to complete (this number might change based on testing and scale the Patreon will afford me), what happens if you, say, seduce one of the girls completely by day 10? I'm going to have to write scenes that take place after you establish a romantic/sexual relationship whether I like it or not because I'm sure as hell not going to just ditch a girl's story just because a player blazed through it to get to the sex. In Long Live the Princess, there will be several routes that achieve different forms of sex. For example, some girls can be seduced the traditional way, manipulated through a spell, or both. Each of those is separate from the other, which means you will often have interesting things to do even if you complete one of them. I have a lot of things to say about this topic, but I'll save them for a future post for the $10 backer tier. Rest assured, however, I do keep things like this in mind at all times.

Like if the MC has sex with his sister then nothing more to build on or friends, first time too me is only the start. So much more can happen to cultivate love or brake the relationship based on choices you make. Not asking for any changes just question or observation from your point of view sometime we learn from asking.
