Cha'Risa vs Spash Zone - One out of Three ain't THAT bad...

Starting Cha’Risa’s Gauntlet match, the Firefly would have to first go against Atticus aka Penguin for her opener bout. Trained in the University of carrying numbers and looking at analytics, Atticus may or may not have ever gotten in the ring before little alone gotten into a fight before. So when Penguin squared off with Cha’Risa all he could land was a fast and nervous punch to the Firefly’s chin. This blow hurt more Atticus than Cha’Risa, but very much ticked off the Aura Reader who promptly tore him limb from limb. Stretching, bending, and absolutely punishing the poor commentator. Without any further struggle, Cha’Risa mounted and pinned down Atticus for the 1-2-3 opening victory.

But with only one match down and Cha‘Risa already took out arguably the weakest members of the trio, but now she was about to go against the mouthpiece of the Splash Zone crew! Ajani Judean, or Aj for short is a part time DJ and a formerly full-time ass kicker! But after signing with Leviathan, Ajani turned in his boots for a headset and a commentating gig! Although taking a few months off from competing in the ring, Ajani is by no means rusty! And he proved that when he took the fight to Cha’Risa!

Even though Cha’Risa outclassed her opponent when it came to her submission expertise, but Aj’s style of combat was just too overwhelming for Cha’Risa to keep up. Outmatched and taking significantly more damage than expected, Cha’Risa knew something had to happen if she was going to get this win and have enough energy to take out Ivy! So trying a desperate attempt at a Spear, Ajani would catch her lacking by catching her with a Cutter! Although that move didn’t knock out the Aura Reader completely what Ajani had in store for her would! As Cha’Risa got to a knee, the DJ sprung into action. Rushing and bouncing off the ropes towards his foe, Aj would jump off of Cha’Risa’s knee before performing a Step-Up Scissor Leg Drop that he personally calls The Beat Drop! With the exceptionally athletic move delivered, Cha’Risa collapsed to the mat like a bag of bricks. With that Aj got the W and Cha’Risa failed the challenge!

But feeling a tad bit bad about Cha’Risa’s predicament and wanting to give Cha’Risa a second chance in redemption- LSL match organizers slightly tinkered the match stipulation for the bout! Instead of Cha’Risa winning all three, the Aura Reader just needed to win 2 out of 3 fights. So just needing to take out Ivy West, Cha’Risa felt rejuvenated at this chance and knew it was now do or Daisuke I’d she couldn’t beat the last Splash Zone commentator.

When you hear the term saving the best for last, this definitely applies in this scenario. Before forced into an early retirement at the prime of her life, Ivy West was a former gymnast turned wrestler. Once a highly regarded wrestling prospect that analytics believed could have been considered one of the best in the company in due time. But after a tragic incident during one of her Ladder Matches left her nearly paralyzed and scarred from head to toe. Doctors believing that it would better if Ivy stepped away from the squared circle permanently unless risking the chance of actually becoming paralyzed the next turn around…

Since then, as compensation for the accident Leviathan has offered full support through Ivy’s recovery and in addition a job as a commentator. Yet recently through sheer luck or a miracle has occurred. doctors has reevaluated Ivy’s back and discovered all of her spinal damage was gone! As if some sort of cosmetic force or an online series that features Leviathan stars to fight each month has healed her! Therefore like her other colleagues of the Splash Zone crew, she was green light to do a matchup against the Aura Reader! Wearing one of her vintage kelp-themed leotards, Ivy suited up for the first time since her accident!

If you thought Cha’Risa struggled against Aj, she really had her hands full against Ivy. This former gymnast was literally doing rope handstand circles around her. Playing a game of provoke and retreat, Ivy really need to use the strategy as she tried knocking off the rust and getting the cobwebs off her playbook. Yet getting in some quick shots here and there, Ivy didn’t always retreated cleanly. Attempting a Springboard Headscissors Takedown, Cha’Risa would catch her in a Powerbomb position. Slamming her back-first, Cha’Risa chose instead of going for the pin attempt, the Aura Reader locked Ivy in a Liontamer. The former Kelp cried out and very nearly tapped out as her newly healed spine was being targeted. But the thought of failing her team and giving up on her return was not going to cut it for Ivy! Clawing at the mat in an attempt to shift the balance in the hold, Ivy painstakingly pulled and pulled until eventually she caught a bit of a break and got free enough to reach out to the ropes to break the submission hold!

With it being absolutely clear what body part that Cha’Risa was going to target, Ivy knew she had to get on her horse and began targeting something of Cha’Risa’s. Deciding since she has been draining her foe’s stamina already, Ivy knew she could target Cha’Risa’s neck. So in a back-n-forth bout of limb targeting, both ladies indefinitely made this a battle of attrition. With tensions rising, something was bound to break and the moment came. On the ring apron after choking Cha’Risa with a Headscissors maneuver, both ladies began punching the other to gain the edge. When Cha’Risa eventually did get the advantage, she attempted a Spear once again! But like before, it was reversed! As the Aura Reader launched herself forward, Ivy jumped and sprung her legs out and caught Cha’Risa’s neck with her legs. Delivering a reversal Headscissors Takedown, Ivy would send Cha’Risa face first into the ring pole!

Now seeing stars and teetering on the ring apron, Cha’Risa was about to fall out of the ring- Ivy would catch her and shove her back into the ring. Rolled close to the ropes, Cha’Risa was in prime position for Ivy’s finisher! Propping herself up onto the top ring rope in a gymnastic handstand, Ivy in extreme athleticism would drop her feet down and bounce off the second set of ropes. This would shoot Ivy into the air and would somehow twist her body and use her momentum to hit a Speingboard 420 Senton onto the downed Cha’Risa! This would be more than enough to put down the blonde veteran and grant the Splash Zone a victory!

After this major win, all members of Splash Zone would get in the ring and pose over the downed Cha’Risa. After some time, Atticus would comment on his experience from this match stating that he has some nightmares of Cha’Risa’s… assets. Hearing this, the Splash Zone crew would never let him live this done ever! (NC)
