Riding across the Prairies

(Removed by YouTube)

After spending five days in Ontario, it was time to leave the province behind and continue our journey towards Vancouver. I was excited to explore a new part of Canada. The endless forests gradually gave way to vast plains, dotted with small towns that thrived on agriculture. The trains moved a lot faster here, as the tracks often cut straight through the landscape. These were the provinces where we could cover a lot of ground, and that’s exactly what we did.

Unlike in Ontario, we encountered more large cities in this region. And large cities mean a higher chance that the train will change composition and drop off some wagons in the terminal, which can be confusing and dangerous. Fortunately, Jay was in touch with a conductor who could see in real time where each car was being dropped off. It felt like a luxury to travel this way. Even so, we still had our share of thrilling moments along the way.

I hope you will enjoy this journey across the Prairies of Canada.

Thanks for your support!

As an early-hour fan since 2020 I always loved your cinematic way of making these films! Unfortunately, especially this year I believe, YouTube is making it really hard for you to share your hobby. I never thought I would take a membership on something related to one specific creator, but here I am! I'am glad I can support you with this small montly donation. Greetings from the Netherlands. One thing I very much admire in you is your strong intellectual curiosity, sense of history, & use of your camera lens to convey a story. I admire your respect of culture & language which highlights your storytelling & enhances the story line as presented. Thank you so much for sharing with us viewers/supporters.
