Part two begins with my favorite day of the whole trip. We woke up to the sun shining between the olive branches. I looked to my right and saw a man approaching us, it was the farmer. He told us that it was no problem for us to sleep on his land, in fact, he even brought us breakfast. Warm homemade bread, tea and olives. It was delicious.
After we ate we went to the river to wash our things and ourselves. We stayed by the water for a few hours because we knew the train wasn't coming until evening anyway and we were more comfortable when we weren't in a city.
We arrived in town an hour later. We went to the yard and saw that there were no trains yet, we decided to have a tea nearby to wait for the train and to charge all of our stuff, GoPro battery, power bank, camera battery.... We ordered 2 cups of tea and the kind waiter suggested making real Moroccan couscous for us, for free. He also brought us 2 glasses of fresh goat milk. In the end, we had to pay for nothing. I truly could not believe that a restaurant gave us free food, while in the tourist part of Morocco they sometimes charge tourists double. Of course, the fact that Rico speaks Arabic also had a lot to do with it, but still. We were really welcomed as guests. After we had a nice meal we went to the tracks and after ten minutes of waiting, the train came storming into the station while honking. We saw security checking the whole train, looking for people. But just before departure they disappeared, and together with two locals we climbed onto the last wagon. And so began the wonderful ride through the desert. It was a perfect day.
I hope you will enjoy the video. Thanks for your support!
