Lagging Behind Schedule

Hey everyone,

I thought I'd ask everyone's opinion about something. Since my regular job and personal schedules have been absorbing so much of my time lately, I'm worried that I may not have a lot of free time to draw new strips this year. (Rewards here on Patreon will continue being sent out, of course.) I don't want anyone to feel that Probl-o-Matic will come to a total halt, either, leaving the story unresolved forever.

Sometime before the end of the year, I plan to launch an IndieGoGo campaign to finish Volume 3. It will be separate from Patreon (which I consider a general "tip jar" for all the work I put out in general, like videos, comics, short stories, etc). The campaign will be to specifically "buy" a few months of time to draw a hundred strips in a row, and get the book printed. It'll require planning (making a video, deciding in tier rewards, all that). If it fails, I'll probably take a break from drawing the strip for a while. (Or, hell, maybe I'll just draw it in stick figure form.)

If any of you want to cancel your patronage before then, I completely understand. I used to have more time for drawing, but unfortunately as I've gotten older, my responsibilities have increased and I have to give attention to work and family first, then hobbies.

No matter what, I've appreciated (and continue to appreciate) your support after all this time. I hope I can continue writing and drawing stuff for you to enjoy!
