“How’s the latest subject doing?”
“It’s hard to say. They’re completely obedient, deferent, and show no reluctance to use their diapers.”
“...why is that hard to say?”
“Well, they behaved like this before conditioning as well. Typically we know their mind has been fully wiped when they willingly obey orders to poop their diapers, but, well… They squatted down and filled it before we could even finish equipping their control suit. That’s normally when they’re still insisting that there’s been some kind of mistake.”
“Eh…I see. How long have you had them conditioning?”
“Twenty four hours.”
“And?”
“And no change in behavior. None at all.”
“It normally melts the subject’s mind in eight hours, right?”
“Normally. Resilient minds break after ten. But resilient minds, well…they don’t volunteer for drone service. I’ve got no way of determining how much is left between their ears.”
“Better leave them in for another day, just to be sure. Then be sure to get their diaper changed, the lab’s starting to smell.”
