Mask in Motion

I got these blank paper masks and started painting some skin texture.
next I'm going to start adding the ornamental gashes.
Then it will basically be a long back and forth of repainting the skin texture and and redefining the gashes.
I'm filming this whole process too.
This is going to be my mask submission and it will also be a main reference for this painting I'm working called "losing face." Or at least thats what I'm calling the painting right now.

Yesterday in class one of the girls told me she went to Ohio and I said "what did you do there?" and she shrugged and said, "Sang Ohio songs."
I asked what Ohio songs were and didn't get an answer.
They all ask if we're painting a toilet. Then they laugh.
I'm going to eat Italian food with my sister tonight and I'm super excited.
