as time past the mods grows, and I am planning to quit doing mods, the game will ban all mods at some point eventually, everytime when people asking me to do mod commission I am afraid I will need to refund if they ban mods every new patch,taking more responsibility as time goes, I dont wanna live that life in fear,and if they got the tool update, I will have to update every mod I made again.
But if I keep doing mods to run this site, most commission I get will be mod commission, I only have two choice , open a extra rank for extra vote(50$ for 10xVote ect) to get more money on patreon so I dont need to take commissions , or quit doing mods and make more normal 3d model art to seek other jobs
Still I will finish the Hela mod and open a new vote this month, I will see if I can get enough sub , if not I will refund all the sub and close the patreon for a while

I share the base blender file in 5usd tire, I don't play vrchat and making advance rig for render is not possible

For sure some people hope to get hands on Models you made for Rivals as VrChat/Resonite/other VR game or even for use in 3d renders. In person hope there be one day possibility to pay for models you created to try make renders!

I'd absolutely love for you to keep doing Marvel Rivals model modding though and it seems Netease has toned down on updates that affect the modding scene so its looking hopeful and they've never really banned anyone from using em to my knowledge, only the cheaters and hackers.

2025-08-04 20:46:04 +0000 UTCNot sure if this will help alleviate any stress or feel less trapped but on the marvel rivals modding discord server they have an announcements channel that informs people if there’s a update that breaks mods and if there’s a tool to fix/update them so if anyone asks about fixes and such you could redirect them there. Also there’s a channel called released-revived where modders fix broken mods. Also the modders all seem pretty chill so if you need or want to talk to them about anything if you needed any advice or help. Also sorry about the stress and pressure you’re feeling over the mods. I hope you continue to make mods cause they are great but if not you are extremely talented and creative so I hope you are able to find something to do whither that be art or 3d modeling/animation and make sustainable income from it.

While I myself subscribed for your mods and wish to continue supporting them so long as the game "allows" them. You are absolutely right second guessing and even quitting mods altogether. So, whatever happens I hope to at least continue supporting you in your future endeavors.

2025-08-04 20:16:38 +0000 UTCRegardless of what you decide on, you really should add an exception in your ToS such as "Purchase this game modification at your own risk" and " You are responsible for your use of unauthorized game mods" to relieve you of responsibility for refunds. You really are not obligated to refund completed transactions. It is not viable to create 3D models for live service games with anti-cheat software, but I believe it is ideal to create commercial 3D models for Blender, Source Film Maker, and/or VRChat. You can put public models for sale in your Patreon shop, Jinxxy and other 3D model storefronts or you may continue to upload for subscribers. It is your decision if you want to accept more commissions for private uses.

2025-08-04 20:14:08 +0000 UTCit's not that simple, if I only sell the model , they got glitches in game, they need to screenshot send me, I fix it, reupload, wait till check, all the way around again and again till it done, you cant make sure the model is perfect before you put it in game

There aren't many other people making content like this for this game. I've spent countless hours using your mods while playing Rivals, and its brought me great joy. It really bothers me to see artists be discouraged to be creative, especially while they try to support themselves. This fine line we walk around the Developers that think we are here just to "cheat" is truly tiresome, and I get it. So, whatever you decide: Don't ever let that stop you from enjoying your own art!

They should understand that mod can stop working because of developers. You making amazing mods! Still there model inside those modded files so technically if for example mods will never being available to make for the game, the model itself is pretty good and can be used outside of just using as model replacement
